Date: Tuesday 21st October Kick-Off: 7.45 Venue: Old Trafford
Coverage: ITV
Copied and pasted from BBC sport:
"Celtic are facing an injury crisis ahead of Tuesday's Champions League clash against Manchester United.
Georgios Samaras missed Saturday's win at Inverness and is due to have a cartilage operation.
Gary Caldwell required stitches to treat an ankle injury in the Highlands and Marc Crosas was substituted late on with a hamstring problem.
The SPL champions are already without Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink and Andreas Hinkel for the trip to Old Trafford."
Leaving Skippy as our only proven striker available for the match.
Manchester United on the other hand, have only one injury doubt, Patrice Evra, add to that the fact that Rooney has said today he is in the form of his life and things start to look pretty ominous for us...
Forgive me for saying it, but I'll be shocked if we take anything from this match.

I think we can get something from this game maybe a bit optimistic!
United had a very good result at the weekend though and Rooney is on fire at the moment.
If we get anything from the game it would be a * godsend. -

These injuries will lower morale an expectations, but the truth is that most of the injured players would not have played in the managers ultra defensive 4-5-1- anyway.
Caldwell will be fit. Hinkel and Crosas, as good as they are, i suspect would have not been Strachans 1st choices in this particular game.
Sammy or Jan would have obviously started up front instead of McDonald. Thats the only change i suspect the manager would have made from the line-up i am about to type...
................Boruc
Wilson Caldwell McManus Naylor
...........Hartley Brown
........Naka Robson Maloney
..............McDonald -
With the injuries we have and the form Rooney's on - I fear for us. :54: But as long as we get stuck in and give 110% that's all I can ask for :50:

I would love it if Paul Caddis was to be in at RB but I highly doubt this will happen

*, my mistake, I meant Paul Caddis lol.. -

If we didn't have so many injuries i would have been slightly confident of getting a result dont think they have lost at old trafford in the champions league for a few years now, a draw there would be ideal.

Its obvious that Scott McDonald is gonna start up front with McGeady and (or) Maloney backing him up.
Strachan has said that Sheridan prob wont feature on Tuesday because 'its not fair on the lad'.
This prob makes Hutchison the back-up stiker for the game. Any of you guys reckon he'll get a run out?..if so...he maybe should have come on yesterday instead of Sheridan. -

Unless Boruc plays a blinder , 4 or 5 nil to utd only outcome i can see there on fire ,
Id take a draw now giving the players we have missing , i hope the board are happy now with the fact they never backed Wgs with the targets he wanted , we now will be show up by a world class side ,
