    £12 million seems pricey for us, but I honestly think he'd rip our league to shreds.

    Guessing we'll try and haggle it down, and I'm also guessing Wolves probably just want him off their books so they won't be too difficult to deal with.

    LTB makes sense, we get a year of him to see if it's worth the big price tag, Wolves get half his wages (or slightly more) off the book and Podence gets regular football, which includes CL.

    A straight buy seems tricky, even with our budget, but I don't see why a LTB couldn't work.

    I love how all these players that are linked all say Celtic are monitoring or following the situation like we have all the time in the world.

    We need these types of players. If we are interested then get our fingers and try put something together

    That does seem to make the story more credible. But we were monitoring the Croatian too apparently but I don’t think we ever stood a chance, hopefully this time it’s different.

    They paid £17m for him nearly 4 years ago so I think asking for £12m with 1 year left is unrealistic.

    Think we could get that down tbh. Even to £8m.
