    Celtic interested in Wolves winger Podence
    Celtic are interested in Wolves winger Daniel Podence.
    It’s understood the Scottish champions are monitoring his situation closely.
    The 27-year-old has one year left on his contract and was not included in the Wolves squad for their 1-0 loss at Manchester United last night.
    Sky Sports News has been told the Premier League club are looking for a fee of around £12m, but it’s believed the Hoops see room for negotiation if they were to make a formal approach.

    I’ll be honest, I’ve seen almost nothing of him but we won’t be paying anything remotely close to 12 million for a guy about to turn 28 in a matter of weeks.

    To that end, is he any good? Watching the game last night that Pedro Neto looked class, is he a similar style of player?

    I agree, we are dreaming if we think he will come here. He’ll get offers from the EPL where £12 million is buttons and worth the gamble. He will get at least 11/2 times the money we would offer him so unfortunately I can’t see it.

    Would be the best signing we’ve made in years if it happens. Unfortunately I think even at 12 million a few clubs will be sniffing around him he’s quality.
