SUNDERLAND keeper Craig Gordon is a summer target for Celtic.
Gordon, 29, a £9million signing from Hearts in 2007, will be a free agent and Hoops boss Neil Lennon will swoop if he fails with a £2m bid for Newcastle’s Fraser Forster
Been linked before but great player for a free if his wages aren't crazy, if he passes a medical fine I would probably prefer him to Forster, communication and coming for crosses.
Nice to have Scotland's #1 between the sticks!

If he can stay injury free and get back to his best, then yes....
I would still prefer getting Fraser Forster in, though. -
FF seems to give our back line stabilty- I like Craig Gordon but is he not a bot of a Holy Goalie- ie absolutey brilliant , then does some mad blunders- maybe due to lack of concentration- plus there is the fitness issue.

FF first please! Concerned about Gordon's fitness!
Although pleased around the calibre of GK we are considering if FF doesn't sign.
Having said that, it could be lazy journalism, as it's an old story!!!

Gordon is a really good keeper, his fitness is the only issue.

Idioteque I’ll laugh until my head comes off
na, he hasn't played first team football for years, deffo not what we need with early champions league qualifiers. No thanks! FF should be signed pronto

Forster should be our top priority over the coming weeks. He can be our no.1 for years to come.
In saying that, if we can't get Forster and Gordon doesn't demand crazy money then i'll be fine with that. But we must not treat the Forster lightly. -

Much rather have big Fraser,he`s at a great age and his game is improving dramatically.I`d only take CG if there`s nothing else doing.

Agree with everyone, FF is the priority but would take Gordon if that falls through. Top keeper when fit.
-
Big Fraser should be first choice without doubt. There's no denying that Gordon is a top keeper but I've never heard of such an injury prone keeper before.

I'd rather big fraz, for his age and his ability for the future look great.

Big no for me to big a risk with all his injury problems.

Gordon has undoubted ability but his definitely a risk considering how injury prone he is. I'd rather have Forster because of his age and potential. I can't see any reason why he wouldn't want to sign here permanently - he won't get much game time at Newcastle with Krul in such good form and he has the opportunities to win trophies and be the first choice up here. It's a no brainer if you ask me.

Cant mind the last time I seen him playing, he could be a shitebag now with all the injuries hes had. Would only take him if we cant get anyone else.

Would still rather have Gordon than Forster tbh, despite how good the big mans been this past half a season. But Would prefer if Forster moved his * and signed then speculation that probably won't come to anything might stop :50:

No. Sign Forster
-
Now the leagues won id sit FF down and see what his intentions are, I personally think he's eyeing a move to the prem and won't sign hence he's putting it off. Should this be the case and we want Gordon sign him up on a pre-contract.
