60% Mugga 40% Refs IMHO.
-
correction, one guy thinks its the refs alone. he claimed that if it wasnt for the refs then we wouldve won the league by 15 points, thats a 21 point swing all because of a couple of decisions:56:

1 mowbray, 2 refs,
-
players
-
Our manager and players have to take the repsonsibility for us not winning the league.

Poor defending, srtikers unable to convert chances(before RK arrived) and a manager that simply couldn't inspire !
-
I'd like to say the Tories, but I'll say referees had a HUGE influence in handing the SPL title to the unwashed. Mowbray partly, but he was scuttled by the refs as well.
-
Poor man management.

TM is my main culprit, clueless, no passion and lacted enthusiasm put this all together and "BANG" we have the makings of a team which did not know which direction it was going
If the ball was going in the net,if he did not leave the weak defence exposed and knew how to change a team when we were down and out this could have changed our points tally.
the refs would not be a problem so the blame lies at the hands of our very own "DESTROYER" Mr T Mowbray stand up and take a bow you clown...... -
referee's have to take alot of the blame, in the derbys we were robbed of 3 points in the first 2 games, many other decisions too. Obviously mowbray aswell, but had those controversial decisions gone our way in only 2 derbys, that would of had the table even at the end, so yes i blame the referees for been boyist....

Mowbray, his back-room staff, and the players.
To suggest anything external is majorly grasping at straws. -
Mowbray and the players. I may get pelters here but let's face it, if we'd have pipped the huns the last push to over-take them, these refereeing decisions wouldn't even be talked about.
All, I'm saying is taking the very bad refereeing decisions into account (there were a lot of them, im not saying there wasn't), I still think the players and manager should have been able to overcome Rangers.
This refereeing thing hasn't just suddenly started, so that excuse just doesn't wash with me.Last edited by a moderator: Jun 8, 2010 -
anyone who thinks it was the refs is a *
-
Players were pretty crap, I think they have to take biggest part of blame.

Went for Mowbray.
1) Robson & Caldwell
2) Silly substitutions
3) Poor team selection -
Mowbray was a terrible manager, unlucky with defensive injuries but tactically a nightmare, * at getting the best out of his players, bizzare subs (the Scott Brown one in particular where he brought him on as captain) and also overseen the 4-0 game(worst thing I've ever seen a Celtic manger do,made us a joke that night). But inspite of this, realistically refereeing decisions cost us more than the 7 points it would have taken to win the league this year, won't go through them all again but he 12 point swing in the hun games says it all.

Mowbray has to take the blame, No wonder the players did not want to play for him, with the stuff he came out with in the media.
