Does anybody feel the same way as me, that everytime we perform poorly, the officials are always the ones we point at.
This 'Always cheated, never defeated' is becoming an amazing peice of ammo for the huns arguements against us. It sometimes does get a bit embarassing. I will probably get slated for this thread because 'Murray was * on Sunday' which he was... Im not taking that away from anyone. But let's look at the facts, no one can win every game. We win 17-18 games on the bounce, and as soon as we lose one I fear to come onto the public forums or pick up a paper because we always do seem to have a huge majority who say '* that ref cost us the game.' Sorry if this is annoying anyone but the truth of the matter is that the side didn't look up for it. If anything Murray done us a favour sending off Cha & Wanyama, because that's the only point we started to play football.
The first goal was lost due to poor defending, the second, was lost due to poor defending by Adam Matthews standing like a stick watching a shot go past him, then watches Little run past him to get the rebound. The third lost because Adam Matthews takes a poor touch and gives the ball away in his own half. Wanyama's was a sending off, 100%, and Cha's maybe was not, but he should never have put the referee in that position by pulling Wallace, or the defence should never have let Aluko play that easily read pass in to put him 1 on 1 with keeper in the first place.
Every game we have been beaten in over the past 2-3 years, only 1 out of every 5 or 6 we seem to not blame the officials. The truth is the back four played poor, very poor, and allowed themselves to be torn apart by Aluko etc. The Samaras penalty, was a penalty, and a sending off, but I get the feeling a lot of support would be criticising the ref if it happened up the other end. Come on guys, stop giving these * ammo to use against us. It's sometimes getting to the point of embarassment. If we get beat, if the referees ARE trying to cost us games by sending players off, * them. Don't get into the situation where an offical can contemplate sending you off.

"Always cheated, never defeated" is what huns say.
Sorry Sharkey, never seen that. But I don't care what the huns say, I thought we were cheated and have been before tbhLast edited by a moderator: Mar 26, 2012 -
I know, they say it about us, that's the point I'm putting forward. Don't give them the ammo to use against us.
-
My ammo is 'we're 18 points clear' and 'we scored twice in 3 minutes against them with 9 men' -

Go on any neutral forum and see what they say about the referee yesterday. If you can't be bothered, you'll find that they also thought the ref had a shocker.
Sure, we were far from at our best yesterday, but we're perfectly within our rights to complain about decisions that have quite clearly cost us the game. I have little doubt we'd have taken at least a point yesterday without the decisions that went against us and that's why I for one am more interested in talking about decisions that cost us in this instance. You can't be fairly defeated when you're at an unfair disadvantage for at least 60 minutes yesterday. -
I completely agree with you on this.
I was posting about this yesterday on Facebook. Everytime we lose, or drop points, he (and others) will blame it on the referee. The person I'm referring to has blamed our draw with Aberdeen, league cup final loss and yesterday's defeat on the officials. Some people really do think we have a right to win every game and just cant accept defeat. -
Also, I would like to add on I would agree with Lennon and have a moan at the ref for not speaking to him, it's his job to and is ignorance not to. But the red cards just go over my head because this makes us look hurting when we argue about it instead of saying '* them, were still champions & they will win nothing!' -

That McLean hun * about a month ago done everything he could to deny us points but we won, McCurry and McDonald have done the same recently and we've won.
Your head up your *. -
My heads up my *? Okay mate, did you see Calum Murray skin our LB, take on a CB and peg the other one before he slotted it past the keeper? No. Aluko did. I would like to add, how many chances did we have in the first half compared to them. Was that Murrays fault? No. Our defence was pish.
-
Focusing on yesterday, the ref was utter *. First goal was our fault. Second goal was offside (ref.'s faulth). Third goal was our fault. So there you go 2 - 2. However, this is ignoring the fact that Stokes had been improperly ruled offside and Sammy being taken down numerous times deep inside their half with nothing being awarded for us.

Does anybody here think the referee had a good game and called all the big decisions right?
-
No it means we should accept defeat instead of blaming every single utter defeat on the officals. The only real fault the referee had on the pitch was wrongly sending off Cha. The offside was hard to spot and was the linesmans job. And the Stoke's offside the linesman made a * of that, granted.

Im not blaming defeat on the officials, just saying they were at it. Who knows what would have happened in a fair and squad officited match, we could still have lost. -
-
Would you agree that when Hearts goal was disallowed against us, and Rangers Lee Wallace goal that was over the line against us that was disallowed when we won 1-0, the officials cheated them and benefited us? Or is it only worth mentioning officials are corrupt when it happens to us? Come on folks, things go our way, and things dont.

You must agree that we get a disproportionate amount of questionable calls go against us?
Kenny Clarke actually said today that it doesn't matter how much contact there was that Cha had to go. Yet last week he said there wasn't enough contact to award a penalty to Stokes?
If that's the man's public perception, * knows what he was thinking privately.
