i was looking at the squad a couple of weeks ago and thought perhaps 12-14 of them where fairly capable players

Gs seemed to suggest something similar after the game in japan

Just wonderin how many players you guys reckon are really worthy of a start

Charlie Mulgrew easy ffs hes got to be better than Mo-Camara or even Paul Telfer the same with Young Nick Riely as that lad runs like a rocket and has two-great feet the same with Michael McGlinchey+Rocco Quinn as well.

I see these players coming into the 1st team very soon and there will be a few other players as well from the reserve side easy!!

Currently I feel we have a weaker squad this season than last, and a further snag is, the others are attempting to improve, and obviously we aint! :87:

Too many passengers and not enough winners (in fact, hardly any winners) - which is why im happy Lennon's still here. Compare that to MON's squad 3-4 years ago, doesnt fill me with too much hope tbh.

Thanks for the lists guys but it makes frightening reading, we need piles of cash and quality, available players very very soon, there can be no messing about by the powers that be at Parkhead, would be an idea to send your lists to them.

Yes he is, along with Wilson and another thing with Bobo playing is that Mick tends to play better too,

balde is a no-nonsense defender wins nearly every challenge in air....has been more often than not immense for us since he signed bar only the odd mistake wich all defenders make at times yes even world class ones.... the physicall presence we lacked there yesterday against hearts imo /bednar wouldnt have got a sniff had balde been playing i tell ya that much... also better communiacation with mcmanus ..sorely miss the big man ...i guarantee we lose less goals when hes back in the side..wait and see.

Forget O'Dea, Cuthbert etc. Not one of us can possibly know from reserve, international youth level whether they will make it. From the first team on Sunday only Boruc, Wilson, Petrov and Miller look to me like they can be relied on in a big game. Unfortunately Miller is not a goal scorer however. I'd include Lennon in there for heart alone but he needs good players with energy alongside him to survive at that tempo. Maloney will be in there once fit. Jarosik has a chance but needs to realise he won't get 30 seconds to control the ball.

Now the negatives - Telfer is just poor. Caldwell. as i said, will make a mistake a game, as will McManus and neither can challenge properly. Had Balde played on Sunday Bednar would not have got his shot in for first goal. Naka is a luxury as i've said time and again. Magic needs to watch a video of Larsson and Sutton on how to put himself about as a frontman.

Totally agree Regi. Bobo gives us a physical presence and decent pace which we sadly lack. Love him or loathe him; at the moment he's still our best centre back.
