What's your opinion on his refusal to shake the hand of Maradona before or after the game?
Is he wrong to put his issues with England to the fore whilst representing Scotland?
Is it any worse than Artur Boruc refusing the hands of Rangers players at Ibrox?
Personally I don't think he should be in the position to start with, he's just a * in my eyes.

Very unproffessional, but then again he always was a bad loser, even if he kept joiners in a job occasionally. He shouldn't be in that position anyway, and even if he was refusing to shake hands, he could have kept it to himself.
I'd sack him for bringing the SFA into disrepute. Thinking on it better, I'd just have him keel-hauled. -

It,s a disgrace him being able to bring a grudge he has from an England game into a Scotland game.
What would he do if he was in that position and we where playing England ?
Would he go and sit in their dugout? -
doesnt set a very professional view for kids does it?

That's my feelings towards him. When Burley and him took over, I was all for them but after the Macedonia game I had my doubts. The Iceland game confirmed my doubts when they played no strikers. Well the Norway game was the very same although they were better than Iceland.
Butcher is no worse than Boruc. Worse actually when you think of the world wide audience.
Just listening to Caldwell and he mentioned the fact Scotland did well using 6 Celtic players:50: Well done getting that in Gary.
Anyway this is nothing to do with England ffs. Butcher should keep his trap shut and I can't wait to see the back of him and the rest of the management team. -

Butcher is a fool and he should be brought to task over his unprofessional behaviour because it has * all to do with his job with Scotland and his disrespected Maradona over that match whilst representing another country.

arrogant ,naive ,embarrassing ,english ,classless ,egotistic,crap player,crap coach,crap manager,crap person,moron
Burley should be shot for involving that *
It is a disgrace that the Scottish media have not made a bigger issue out of this, if it's the same tomorrow, after the fact, then they should bow their heads in shame.
*.
In a nutshell, that about sums the guy up.
His loss tbh
I would love to shake the diego maradonas hand
I wouldnt shake terry Butchers hand - thats what he wanks with.
IMO he should shake his hand, but he doesn't need to if he doesn't want to.
It'll be an interesting read when I dig out the thread from when Boruc didn't shake the huns hands, I guarantee a few people have changed their tune.
Hes being a stubborn ,immature little child. If he refused to speak to everyone who cheated once in their career he would be a lonley person.Never liked the wee * anyway, too moany and negative for my liking.

fire ahead then ,are you that bored ?
He used the fact Maradona was in town for his own personal grudge.
Couldn't GAF that he never shook his hand and neither does Maradona, it was neither the time nor the place for him to say he was going to 'give him the fists of Butcher'. That's the extent of the guy, violence and anger. He shouldn't be part of the Scotland set up to begin with.
I thought of that when typing this thread, but I think it's a different scenario.
Butcher is an Englishman, representing Scotland. He should not be bringing issues with England to a Scotland game imo.
If he wants to represent Scotland, he should be interested only in issues concerning Scotland.
For me, he dismissed his duties, and embarrassed the country by being disrespectful whilst wearing the colours of Scotland.
* off Butcher.
