Did nothing again last nite apart from hit his usual blast over the bar. Why does he hold a spot in centre mid when he adds absolutely nothing to our attack?
I dont really hold anything against him, its the managements decision that he plays most weeks. Is it a case that Strachan wont admit defeat with his biggest signing?
I try to be objective when I watch him, but its clear that he has very average technical ability, no tactical awareness and and a shot that strikes fear into row Z.
Some say he's still learning. Im sorry but the CL stage at Celtic is not the place to learn. Others, notably Gravesen, were shown the door in a lot less time than Brown's been holding a first team place down.
Discuss Scott Brown anyone? in the Celtic Chat area at TalkCeltic.net.

Gravesen was a numpty and ran around like a headless chicken msot of the time, chasing the ball when their defenders had it, complete waste of time. He also gifted Man Utd 2 goals at Old Trafford by simply passing them the ball in our own half.
Scott Brown done nothing wrong last night.
He's been impressive since the start of the season and has had his best run of form for Celtic in recent weeks.
Done nothing wrong imo, so I don't know where you're getting this from.
Want to blame someone? Look at McManus/Hinkel/Samaras. -

Has improved recently so i personally dont give him as much stick as i used to, however he is still a big question mark as far as im concerned.

The guys been the most improved player this year, Boris i couldnt disagree more with you, hes been tremendous for us, i cant fault the guy, i can fault the team for their performance last night but picking brown out of a bad bunch is absurb, hes a fantastic player.
Hes one of our better midfield players -
100% correct .We have been told over the last month that he is bang in form dear o dear he is so limited in ability it is frightning .Hard to beleive that thats the best you can get for 4m .Should be punted while there is still resale value on him but that said would you give strachan a penny to spend in the transfer market .boruc aside there has not been one buy who has consistently delivered more often than not in the games that matter.Aalborg were no better than partick thistle and for our present manager to come out with a statement that he dosnt know how he lost the game beggers belief. No leadership on or off the pitch.

It seems to me that if the odd pundit or two say he looks a bit better then many start to overly applaud his every contribution. Ive heard people at CP clap him for a 10-15 yard pass under no pressure.
Sorry to say but I think the huns got the better deal with Thompson -

Scott brown is by far one our best players. He is composed on the ball and works for the whole game. I dont know if you know much about football because its not always down to what he does on the ball. He closes down players constantly and has that bit off bite in the midfeild needed. esp when there are player like naka inthe side who arent very agressive. he also constantly has wee niggles as the opposition, that gets them wound up.
Class act, and is improving alot. -

I was one of Brown's critics until recently, but he's been playing better to be fair.
I don't know how people can say he was man of the match last night however, he was anonymous at times.
He has definitely improved though from last season. -

Utter tripe. He was quality last night.
This kind of ridiculous statement is why everyone says fans don't know what they're talking about. -

I thought Brown had a decent game last night, he was full of running and determination, a lot more than can be said for Samaras, who looked like he was on an undercover mission for the Orcs.
-
Thought he did ok last night and I think he's came good.
Rumour mill alert but i've been told by an odds compiler for Ladbrokes the bookies have been made aware Redknapp will be interested in the January window. -
-
i will stick to my early season prediction broony player of the year
