Does anything annoy you anymore than part-time Celtic-fans?
im a part-time Liverpool fan,on occassions like tonight for example- i shout i scream at the telly.etc..etc
But when it comes to my Club - I can't stand them.
Does anyone else have such a loathing?
Or do i need anger managment?

Part time Celtic fans dont really bother me. If they buy merchandise and help put money into the club then fine. But if they are at a game they better * sing and help create an atmosphere, in saying that what makes a part time fan. I know guys who have season books and very rarely attend games unless they are big games, and ask them if they are part time fans and they would be deeply offended.
I suppose if your a Celtic fan, your a Celtic fan, doesn't matter if you can commit Full time, part time or just at weekends. We all have different lives and different things to do. Only you must know if you a a true fan, we can't judge people on how much of a fan they are by how often they can get to C.P, how much merchandise they buy and things like that. For me and millions more 'Celtic fans' its in the heart....thats where you feel it, the highs, the lows.
Its in the heartPart time, full time, any time:celt_2: -

Part-timers don't bother me at all. The more tims the better I say part-timers or not. My missus could be described as a part-timer. She knows hee-haw about fitba, doesn't really care that much either but she likes to see the Celtic do well coz it makes me all happy. -
I don't mind part-time Celts, but that's not to say I know what planet they are on.
-
however the type of fan that annoys me is the ones who suddnely dont support the team when the going gets tough. your right in saying though if they are puttin money into the club then its all good -

I went to a "*" school and got called a hun off people from the "catholic" school, yet my mate told me like 1 guy in his whole year goes to the celtic games and ive got a season ticket. That's part-timing for ye though!
-
Don`t really have anything against part-timers, but I do think it`s daft when they claim to be 'Celtic through and through', 'Celtic till I die' or something when they`ve never been to a game, couldn`t name the first team and the only Celtic strip they own is a 7 year old top that was bought as a Christmas present.
Just be honest about it, you`re a part-timer! -

i don't mind the part timers as long as they don't complain too much about how the team is playing.

Exactly. It's never a good sign if someone claims to be the greatest fan in the world.
Some people think they are better fans because they pay more for their seats, or go to more games, or buy more merchandising, but the truth is that if you care about Celtic then you're a good fan in my book. -

I like all celtic fans no matter what except glory supporters. You guys dont have to deal with them to this much of a degree. But in the US its terrible.
In one of the social networks here(think bebo) called facebook there was a message from some guy who likes chelsea, celtic and rangers.(cause they are both good)
Now that is not a fan...even if he buys the merchandise. -

Not got a * clue, couldn't be classed as a supporter at all. Maybe he's escaped from the nut house. -
Totally agree with this! I myself am a student, Can't afford it! but even still I was never brought up a fan by my parents, so it was my own choice when I was younger to go to cp and when you're young you cant go by yourself can you? so I'd like to think it isn't all based on when you can attend/ etc. It's about wanting to see the club do well, through and through.
Saying that I know fans who have had season tickets in the past, still go to a lot of games now and go through the phases of " I've really had it with them" to me that's not really a fan!.
I suppose everyone has there own views on the whole part time fan thing though, although it shouldn't really matter :87:
