It's only my personal opinion, but I don't agree with anyone not showing support or respect to a Celtic captain, especially one who suffered so much off opposition fans and certain sections of the media. If he was unliked by some people as a player, then fair enough. But he never gave anything less than 100% to Celtic and deserved to be thanked for this.

    nah....doesny bother me....

i would be annoyed if i couldnt get my season ticket due to commercial exploitation of such groups.
    we are one big family!

As gordy has already pointed out, criticising early leavers is pointless and out of order. Many people have legitimate reasons for wanting to avoid the traffic and getting home sharp.

You can't post people at the exits to quiz everyone leaving. You pay your money, you do what you like.

Absolutely. But hopefully in a constructive manner. Better to vent your spleen on an internet forum than at the ground tho eh?

On the other side of the coin. Why dig people that actually turned up for the game. Look at all the empty seats around, maybe these guys should get a bit of stick by the "real fans". Didn't even give their book to the wee guy next door?

Of course they paid the money and can do what they want but fans who leave early on a consistent basis are not as passionate as the fans who stay therefore the fans who stay to the bitter end are better fans

That's a bit of a sweeping statement to make. So what if a guy starts work on a saturday night at 6:30. He has to leave 5 minutes early to make it on time.

Unlike some fans he has a house, a car and bills to pay. If you stay until the death that makes you a better fan? Bollocks.

Forgot to say without a good accuse ie. Taking the weans home because they are freezing

But your kidding yourself on if you think 100% of the early leavers will be leaving for work. If reality kicks in they are going to the pub

I don't know everyone's reasons for leaving, but too many people just criticise them all. You tar everyone with the same brush.

I agree totally. People have reasons for leaving early, like work or travel commitments and have to avoid crowd congestion etc. That is different from leaving intentionally not to show support to the team or an individual at time up. But everyone to their own.

I know it's late.. but you seem to have heard of it, that's a good sign :50:
