you can have all the Star players you want but If theres No direction, No tactics then poor teams will turn you over, thats a fact. Tony Mowbray may well be an Ex Celtic player but Nice guys dont win Leagues. Peter Lawell chases South East Asian players as jersey sellers with no regard to the Celtic Faithful at Parkhead. In my opinion both Tony Mowbray & Peter Lawell should resign Forthwith.

Is this a joke thread?

nope, never trained by the looks of them, its just not there they don't even look professional, should you line them all up, they all look like they came out of a bust couch, just give me that impression. as a team, they should at least look the part :87:

Lawwell and his board need to look more closer at home. -
naka was good but he was the exception i.ejinky ,henrik& lubo we are a worldwide club but lawell is fixated on the asian continent
-
i fear worst under TM, he wont change his style regardless... meaning he wont play longball if were chasing a game.. he will stick to his principles even if were loosing or not scoring...
im not a fan of that, yes play good football, but if ur chasing goals then route one has to be a option -

Mowbary doesn't play the match, a few players need to buck up. Keep the faith. I'm waitin 'till next season to judge him. -

My big question is why was Brown brought on for Naylor to play left back when we were chasing the game? Did Naylor pick up a knock like Hinkel and Hooiveld? Even if he did at that point * it may as well play 3 at the back and either get Brown in central midfield or why not bring on Rasmussen up front alongside Keane and Fortune and play 3-4-3. Or if you have to have 4 at the back play 4-3-3 and drop N'Guemo into one of the full back rolls play Brown in the middle and play Kamara up front.
I know we are in a transitional phase and tonight we had a new team out there in many ways that hasn't trained together but to lose that game after yet again being in total control for the vast majority of it is shameful. -

Thats the most unorganized Celtic team I have ever seen in my life.
I cant see the complaint with Ki, the boy is a great player, his ball retention in that team was second to none last night, he just had very little options when he had the ball going froward.
As for the Brown/Naylor substitution, if the board was to ask any footballing man what Moggas thinking was there, they would be dumbfounded.
And McGeady (Jesus Christ) -
I agree that it looks at times to be a complete shambles, there doesn't appear to be any planned tactics for when we break with the ball. Mc Greedy gets it most times and by the time he's put on " The Aiden Mc Geady Show " all the opposition players are back in position, things have to change, bench Mc Geady for starters.
Get the ball forward quicker, stop all the fannying about in midfield and give the forwards a chance to score. Sounds simple, but think about, we currently spend far too long passing the ball sideways with no affect other keeping possession. -

i though the midfield was poor, very little balance. nothing was created for the fowards they seem to have to create all the goals as well as score them! Ki might be a good player but this aint the time to bed him in to scottish football, especially into a poor team. Mogga seems willing to persist with his own signings when things aint workin rather than the others.
As for this 'transitional' phase? I think thats bullshit, it didnt take MON a season to sort out a side that lost the title to the huns by 21 points, it took him 10 mins! Mogga ought to sort it out quicksmart, he has a squad that should be by far head and shoulders above any team in the spl and we are really struggling, dropping points to teams in the lower reaches of the league!
A major improvement required immediately or I fear the worst for the big man! -
we were a sham last night, what happend to Crosac in the middle with N'geumo. They at least looked a central pairing that had a vague idea what the other was doing :31:

i hate this (were going through a transitional period)bolloks, weve got more money the rest of the league put together the huns are bankrupt and were fighting with hibs for 2nd.the managers lack of tactics is whats fucken wrong here.the players we have we should be * the league but so far from europe to the league cup to the league we have been rotten bar 1 or 2 performances.its not good enough and its time the board opened their eyes.i would have loved to have seen the big man being a success but i just cant see it happening under him.i dont know where we go from here and its just so frustrating.

He build something at Hibs that was very attractive and brought the kind of success they haven't had in a long time.
He came in to a shambles left by Robson at WBA. Sold off several key players to fund a rebuilding job and took them to within a game of the Premiership. The next season they walked it and played soem good stuff along the way.
They have played good stuff this year as well and gone down. And i think he has learned alot this year. If he had the lad Fortune from the start it may have been different.
Fans dont make a shitload of masks for managers who have just been relegated, but they did it for him - tells you a lot. WBA will be gutted to see him leave and i will be delighted to have him here.
Good football to match the silverware

He is that good Hearts managed to score 12 goals in 3 games against them in 1 season. Sounds like cracking football.
I got roasted on this site for daring to question the appointment of Mowbray. I said that he was not good enought, couldn't organise a defence (which for an ex centre half is criminal) and cannot change a game when getting beat. 6 months down the line I am still of this opinion. He has to go. The sooner the better. -
