I call my lunch my lunch and my dinner either dinner or tea...
Also, what do you call the remote control, me = the buzzer, but i have heard it being called the doofer?? *?:97:

When I was a wee guy cold meat used to be called gammon.
A common primary school conflab went :
"Whit ye got for your dinner?"
"A roll n gammon and a can o' ginger"
These days it's all ciabattas with cold meat and * smoothies!!! -

I call the remote the "geggie" pronounced ge-gay, have absolutely no idea why that may be ! Also call Bacon Ham, as in Ham and Eggs, and call Ham Gammon as in a roll and Gammon.
Its strange why Scots say Ginger when they mean juice, Gingers a root vegetable, and I have no idea why we call it Ginger !! I still do mind you.
* when you think about it, the Scottish folk have some weird names for stuff. -
lol some crackers there bhoys in my house the tv remote is called the flicker( odd i knw) cant think fo nothing more at the minute but shall add them when i remember lol
