Looking at everyone getting praise and their own thread but no Ki thread.
I thought he was fantastic today on his return. He controlled most of the game and was the one who demanded the ball and tried to make things happen more.
I also think he would have impressed Alex Ferguson.
Lennon will be having nightmares about team selection now with near enough everyone except Maloney back.

YES!, said it on the MOTM thread, Ki's performance has been understated imo, dictated the play aswell as anyone today, plus very good set peice delivery, good decision by lenny to include him
also, no coincidence that we controlled the game when lenny shifted ki beside kayal as the 2 deeper midfielders, they 2 could be good together -
I would have taken him off before Commons....

Thought the same, he was on the ball more than anyone and demanded it off everyone. Covered every blade of grass, he's turning into some player much improved from the weak lanky guy who could pass and take set peices this time last year. He is a lot stronger, quicker and gets stuck in now. -
Thought he let us down today.
-
he was supporting Hooper, when we swapped him to an anchor role he was brilliant. Always liked the guy, he is our Alonso.

I thought he was poor, far too slow in everthing he did and ruined our momentum at times I thought.
-
Cany understand anyone who said Ki let us down today. Did you not see how many passes went through him today? I feel like I must have been watching a different game. Ki, Brown and Wilson were probably the best players on the park today!
-
He got caught taking too long on the ball a couple of times, but generally good, Ki Kayal and Ledley were always moving about the midfield making themselves open for passes, whenever our attacking play slowed or got blocked off one of them was always slotting in behind to take the pass back and move the ball on, it doesn't look or sound too special but it keeps play ticking along and is the reason we dominated possession.

He may have been fairly ineffective but 'let us down' he did not. No Celtic player let us down, Forster included.

Commons for how good he is and he done quite well today had a few bad things to his play... dallyed on the ball too much and the work rate wasn't as required for Old Firm matches.
Penalty was a prime example. He will learn though.
The full midfield was top class, I think him and Kayal can be legends if they are with us for 5, 7+ seasons. -
-
respect your opinion tho :50: -
Thought Ki was massive as were all our midfielders.
Ki and Kayal the future of the club!:shamrock: -

I am a massive fan of Ki but I don't think he was at his best today. He was slow on the ball and going by his own high standards he gave away the ball too much.
Ki will go on to be a massive player for us, possibly this season but definitely in the future if we can keep a hold of him, I have no doubt he'll go on to be a fantastic central midfielder. -
Also think once we go to back to 442 that he'll have a hard time getting back into the team with the way we're playing atm.
