Agree with you apart from Jozo, Bauer, Eboue, Rogic, Arzani, Hayes, Morgan, Bayo and Griff -
Bauer is a season loan, Rogic can still play a part, talk of another deal for Arzani and Hayes..

- Need a CB massively, maybe even 2. We needed two in the summer and only got Julien, Simunovic is a mystery again and Bitton has signed a new deal and is now seen as a CB, so he makes it possibly only needing the 1.
- A strong DM - or someone to replace Brown, either or will do, and depends on how Lenny wants to setup.
- A striker - Plan ahead for Edouard leaving - though I think we will keep him another year and wouldn't be surprised to see a new deal offered to increase the value of him. A 2nd striker may also be needed depending on the finer details of Griffiths. Bayo, just nah.
- A goalkeeper - a tough one, we would all rather keep Forster, and we do have him at least till end of season so no first team GK is likely to come in, without assurances that he is the future number 1 at least.
Forster** Being what we need to look at improving in. Not all will be sorted for this window, but even planning ahead, we need those positions fixed very early in to the summer in my opinion. Plus whoever may leave from those two lineups - Ely being the obvious.

I've added Dembele in there at RW looking to the future and the fact that the other 234564545 wingers we have seem to be complete * or just completely lost - seriously where are they ?
OUT:
- Gordon, Bain(whole GK position needs sorted for the long term, a key number 1, a solid backup and a young prospect, Bain may fit the solid backup mould)
- Hendry, Bauer (loan makes some sense now, that we obviously had eyes to Frimpong breaking in to the team, he's done his part now so we really shouldn't be looking to keep)
- Sinclair, Morgan, Arzani, Hayes (would actually keep for squad overall), Shved, Eboue - pretty much all of these guys are a waste of resources now. Would love nothing more for Sinclair to come back in to the team and prove he is worthy of starting, for Arzani and Shved to light up the league etc, but lets face it - wasted money at this stage now.
- Bayo - useless and had time to prove it, but doesn't seem like he is going to cut it at all.
- Ralston, Henderson, Perez, Gutman all out on loan, and aside from Henderson, there is no place in the first team squad for these guys. Gutman looked good preseason, and depending if Boli actually stays a solid player or not, we may not need him either.

Think we are in a good position here not to panic and we can, in theory take our time and be selective.
Wouldn't say its a massive priority right now, but if Thumb and Lenny aren't gonna work then a striker would be grand.
Another CB is probably the biggest thing for me.
Maybe a LW of real qaulity and someone who can take on Forrest so the * can * rest for a change.
* it, spend it all on getting Forster here full time £20million upfront. Do it. -
For me one thing is a must: new striker! Griff i love, bur i feel his time is done. Bayo with his injury record you cant trust. So a reliable backup to French Eddy!
I would be happy with that already.
A new CB would be handy too. And as in every window Victor should come home now! But i only will believe it when i see it. -
In an ideal world benkovic,wanyama, 2 strikers, forster on a permanent and I'm not convinced with the lb position, so one of them too

I don't think we need another CB unless someone wants to buy Jozo. CJ, Ajer, El Hammed, Jozo, Bitton... we're fine. That's not to say that if the opportunity came to, say, sell Jozo and buy Benkovic we shouldn't take it; but CB is not a priority for me.
Needed: a decent striker as back up to Eddy. It's terrifying how dependent we are on him staying fit at the moment.
Wanted: the next Eddy, the next Broony. We don't know if we'll still have Eddy for the CL qualifiers (you have to imagine maybe not) and we don't know if Broony will still have it next season. Prefer not to leave that till the last minute for once. -

Jozo is pretty much a write-off. The guy is constantly injured. Elhamed has missed more matches than he's played as well. For the last 2 months we've been an injury to Jullien away from Ajer and Bitton at the back in some massive matches.

What we defo don't want is squad players/fillers, we need players in who will help improve the team and provide competition for places, cheap options to make up the numbers won't cut the mustard.

Sisto would an excellent signing. Loan with a view to buying as he is or was completely frozen out at Celta and we were linked with the Turkish winger there so we'll no doubt know about his availability..
Centre half is a must as well as a striker..
A combative, energetic/quick midfielder in the Wanyama of his prime mould..

Last year in January we didn't even loan in player's that were all that but you just saw a difference after January with new faces and real pace added to what we already had..
Just imagine a few in of real quality to go in to the first team and the lift it would give to some of the boy's who've been overplayed out of necessity..The Prof likes this. -
Elhamed, we are told can fill in at CB, I feel that's more the same as Lustig could do it as well. He isn't a CB and he hasn't(to my knowledge) started as a CB for us. He clearly is a RB first and foremost and should not be considered in a pool of 4-5 CB's that we need of reasonable quality.
Which really leave sus Julien, Ajer, Jozo, Bitton - the later two being the weaker options.
