Was looking for one for golf there and couldn't see it. Anyone putting any bets on The Players Championship, starting today?

    Went £1 e.w on

    Willett (60/1)
    Hoffman (66/1)
    Snedeker (70/1)
    Leishman (100/1)
    Kaufman (200/1)

Coverage is infuriating again as usual. Put £10 on Landry to finish leader today at 3/1 earlier and i've not seen the * hit a single shot since :56: must be about 2 hours maybe even 3 ago :nonono:

    Rory misses the cut!

edit, actually a bit premature....he needs to birdie the last 2 to make it.

Still a lot of golf left to play for Lowry, will be tough to keep it going

Shane lowry is still the best part of Even money to hold on. i think that is a great price myself with a 4 shot lead. Granted it will be a long day for him trying to not look over his shoulder, but he is always a player i had earmarked for winning a major from the moment he won the Irish Open as an *. The guy is a player, and im sure if it was one of the usual suspects with that lead the price would be less than half what it is.

I put £70 on Lowry just there at evens, im £70 down the day and thought it was a decent chance to get it back, also put £20 on Lowry, Warriors and France to hopefully get back up.

Got a good interest in it now :s: he better hold on

Good luck mate.Im holding out for the price to ease a bit if maybe someone behind him gets a birdie, or he misses the 1st fairway or something.....looking for 6/4 and will stick £20 on.

Koepka 6 under after 11 holes showing a good score is definitely possible.

Each to their own and all that, but golf is incredibly popular all around the world and is still growing.

I can imagine it is mind numbing if you are not into it, but if you are, it is compulsive viewing.....and there are few sporting events i would rather watch in world sport than the final day of a US Open. Its like chess with 12 players.
