Freedom fighters don't behead people and kill civilians in terrorist attacks. They are terrorists.

No need for that mate - this thread is about football, the Israeli fan joined up to this forum to talk about the up coming game between our two clubs, if you want to discuss politics start a thread in the pub and leave this thread to those who want to talk about the game.

I have to say I don't really know anything about the Hapoel team so I hope we don't under estimate them as that would be the biggest mistake we could make.

It is ludicrous to say Palestine doesn't have terrorists.

Yes, we know about the atrocities the Israelis committed against the Palestinians. But does that give anyone the right to blow themselves up on a crowded bus? Mowing down children with a bulldozer? How about beheading a young Israeli soldier? If they want to fight back then fair enough, what is stopping them from picking up a gun and then fight with the Israeli government? But no, they'd rather go after women and children and to cowardly behead people.

Oh come on people!! No need to accuse either Israelis or Palestinians of being Terrorist!

THIS IS A FOOTBALL FORUM! STICK TO TALKING ABOUT FOOTBALL!

The Hapoel Ta fan is a decent guy from what I've read, good posts from him. Don't turn his thread to * or it'll get locked because of some people acting like twats!

BTW welcome to the forum and ignore some dickheads who posted * above!

    HAIL HAIL!

Anyone who attempts to sum up the Palestinian situation in a paragraph clearly knows nothing about what is going on. I really hope you get in an Israelis face about this, just don't wear your hoops top.

theres nae place fur politics or people who always bring it up at parkhead, or any away games for that matter, IT IS FOOTBALL.:31:

go to israel & support the hoops, while keeping the great reputation we have all ,managed to create.

@ the hapoel ta fan: sorry you need to listen to this *,its only a minority of our great support who bring this up, it has nothing to do with football and the majority of us know that:50:

    Just Can't Get Enough

I, and i would think most people in fact, like to think of celtic as more than just a football club.

I also think there is such a thing as political expression, which can take place anywhere, so why not a football match? If too many people don't try and get their point across, for fear of upsetting others, then democracy breaks down. Now, i am not advocating waving Palestinian flags in israel, cos thats a bit * on our hosts, and probably downright dangerous.

Noone is claiming to speak for all celtic fans, but what those who wish to keep politics and football separate have to realise, that there is a sizeable contigent within our support who think otherwise.

Right, this thread has been taken way off course with some off topics rants about politics. I'm not going to get involved in the different points of view or the merits of each, I'll say this thoug.

One more political rant in here will cause the thread to be locked and those who go off topic again to be reported.

And "7bhoy" learn something about this forum. Posting in caps doesn't make you right or clever or get your point across. It does the complete opposite, so wind your neck in and behave yourself.
