2m is a great deal! Get him signed, still learning and will only get better.

Not me for me, looks too suspect at times can't command the box and is terrible getting to the ground. Only upside to his game is he can make saves up towards to crossbar and top corner most of his great saves have been straight at him anyway and made look dramatic.
Would only pay 500k for him at the most. -

I wouldnt pay £4m for him. also think that £2m is a bit steep for him. He has been suspect at a few goals and should have done better for both on Sun imo.
I know he is still young and could develop but is it worth us losing games foir the next few years before he develops? -

That is the highest I think we should pay though, imo we would need 2 keepers because Zaluska will won't to leave.

i think hes been good for us this season but i think £2m is a bit much, i dont know were they get a £4m valuation of him as hes never even played a game for them :97: i think he would be a good signing if we got him but i think there could be better out there for that price

yeah, definitely the highest i'd want the club to pay for him too. anymre and we need to move on to other targets.
the link also says that we're going to open contract talks with Zaluska. wouldn't mind him staying as he is a second choice goalkeeper. adequate cover imo. -
really:56::56: hes got 15 clean sheets this season and we are top of the league, it not as if we are conceding 2/3 every game
also you forgot to mention the wonder save he had when it was still 1-1 in extra time :bbpd: -
i think those clean sheets flatter him as they can be attributed to the work done by our defence and midfield. i don't think many of our opposition get a lot of shots away.

Too much money, would rather get Westwood on a free. He will be starting for Ireland Saturday if anyone is interested in watching him, Given is out injured.

I don't believe they can expect to get £4m for him.. I think if he was playing in the premiership his kicking would be exposed within a game or two and he'd be back out the team.. He's is excellent for a league like ours where keepers don't get closed down by strikers very often..
If they think he's got a massive future they should let him either extend the loan for another season with a view to giving him a go in the EPL the season after , or sell him on for maybe £2m but put something like a 50% sell on clause into his contract..
I think £2m is fair.. -
Would pay 2m for one of the best young keepers in britain his record speaks for itself and if we get Westwood on a free we'd have too really good young keepers fighting for no1 which could only be good for each other.

Widely regarded as their weak link. I'd rather we looked elsewhere.

Was in the paper that Rangers had identified him as a weak link they were hoping to exploit in the game.
£2m is quite steep but he's got potential, could prove to be a great signing in a few years or might not, it's a gamble. -

4m is way over the top for a third choice keeper. pardew doesnt fancy him if hes in the market for another keeper, so 4m?
i think 2 m is even top heavy for a third choice epl keeper. -
Surely it's what he's worth to us is what we'd look to pay.. If our attitude is that we should get him cheap just because he's not favoured there then it's a dangerous game to play.. Maybe the kind of reasons that many of our proposed deals have broken down in recent years..

personally i dont think they flatter him, i think hes a good keeper, but my main point was that the guy said "why should we lose games while we wait for him to develop" and my point was he is still developing and we arnt losing games:bbpd:
