We were diabolical away from home under previous managers, we won our two european home legs and Lennon today is sending out a team to defend his 100% league record. Yes 4-0 was harsh and am disgusted at it but Lennon is only fixing what was broken in the first place by Mowbray, give the man a chance how the * are we ment to build anything worth shouting about when people are to quick to press the panick button.
We all said a european run was a bonus this season, we need to concentrate on bringing the league back home.
Mon the hoops !! -
Yup, spot in Provan. The board have to take the blame for everything.

Its way too early to conclude but his basic point is true that its a mystery that we searched the world of football managers and appointed Lenny, by far the least experienced person to be Celtic boss in a long long time. His huge popularity as a player and Celtic man as usual ensured most fans were not bothered by his non-cv. I think though he has made decent signings and we will probably be ok in the spl even if he is a rookie because Rangers seem to be self destructing - word is they are going to sell Miller now.

Oneill and strachan both could not win away from home in europe. Why should lennon be crucified for this! He won the home game comfortably and has 100% record in the SPL including beating rangers with a * poor celtic team.
Experience isnt everything, lennon in my eyes is doing a good job and hopefully he takes this team on to win the double or treble because I wanna see him here next year with a team he can build on and not leaving us having to rip another squad apart. -
the man speaks soundly on this subject,i agree that Lenny might need a helping hand
and if he is too proud to ask for help, he will be fooling himself
and the masses ,in my field the best engineers in the world, always look for advice -
Everybody on this forum said the league was the main focus so let's stop moaning about europe and win the league. Thanks, bye!

Listen when something like this happens theres always fallout and everyone and their granny will have their say and thats their perogative . Now the reality is as ive said before lennons remit was win the league and anything else is a bonus so with all due respect to provan ( who i think takes his english job over us ) or anyone else until the league is over then its unfair to judge lennon after ech game as the league is played for over a season . Its easy to point to the fact lennon is inexperienced when we lose but as has been said its like 1 away win in 29 so cmon lets get a bit of realism here a defeat will always be a * to accept but its done now lets move on and as fans lets all back the team in whatever way we can

Think Lennon has to be given a little time. He is re-building what was a poor side. He has made several changes, and they will take time to gel and realise playing for Celtic is a about winning All of the time.
Certainly agree that having someone to advise him every now and then would be a massive help, but it has to be someone he trusts.
Europe was always going to be a bonus this season on the field. Off the field, being out at this stage is a finincial disaster.
Let's get behind Lenny and the troups to push for a very important title this year. The blue side will be bursting a gut this year to give Watty a big send off. Let's spoil the party. -

Davie Provan is absolutely right. Why do some people feel the need to attack ex Celtic players who have an opinion in their new role as Football pundits? Get yer * blinkers off. It's not an attack on Neil Lennon!

He is either taking a gamble with the, I told you first bla..bla..bla...... or he is trying to pile the pressure on a little more before the game today.
Somehow I feel it is the latter. -
mabe he means that 90% of the teams that WGS and MON lost to where good or great teams
unlike lennon 7th last season in the dutch leauge and a team who has never played in the champions leauge before....
mabe thats it?
