Most predictable article ever... I could've written this before the season started and I bet every newspaper establishment has one variant or another written already.. yawn

To be fair to Davie, he warned against the dangers of appointing Lennon before the season kicked off.

One of very few hacks who's opinion I listen to.

Elements of truth, but I hope and pray Lenny sticks it up these "Celtic" media men.

    A very good point mate:50:

In my opinion most ex Celtic players still feel something for the club and Davie is no exception and having met Charlie Nicholas twice over the years I can tell you this, if he criticizes the club, it's because he's hurting like * and it wouldn't surprise me at all if Provan was on as much of a downer as most of us on Friday morning as well.

You may not agree with their point of view but I don't think guys like Nicholas and Provan get any pleasure from seeing Celtic being down and it's their job now to be honest.

Davie Provan has seen enough rookie managers * up in his days in football to be concerned.

However there is an air of confidence about Lennon that he know's what needs done. More than managers than like Mowbray who had experience, John Barnes who had none and Jo Venglos who is one of the most experienced in the game.

Trust in Neil, he will lead us too the promised land:50:

Perfect. We can now create the siege mentality the top managers all use to be succesful. Every one is out to get us so go and prove them wrong.

The huns even sing it 'no one likes us we don't care' that attitude is invaluable if you want to be champions.

Alex Ferguson is the master at it. He learned it at the feet of Jock Stein.
