1. Anyone else on here think that Gordon has looked very shaky this season? Granted he has an almost completely new back four infront of him but I think maybe dropping him for Bailley will spur him on to improve his game

  2. He has but Bailly has looked a bit erratic when he has played. He hasn't become a bad keeper overnight and may just lack confidence.

  3. Forster was often criticised for not controlling the area well enough, but at the moment Gordon is much worse at that than Forster. We've lost a lot of goals because he was glued to the line or shaky going out. Both goals at Malmo, Aberdeen at the weekend, equaliser today.

  4. His mistakes always come in big games

  5. Even Boruc was prone to the odd * up. These things tend to come together. Maybe he has now reached his quota for this year

  6. He's bee woeful this year. Questions have to be asked about his mentality in the 'big' games. Shocking against Malmo and tonight, cost us the home game against Inter, sent off in the semi final v Inverness.

  7. Totally agree with all you've said, a think dropping him for a few games to let him know his place isn't guaranteed will do him good, it will make him work harder to get back into the team and hold his place

  8. I really like him but does have big game fear

  9. Aye shocking needs a kick up the *.

  10. Looked like a big lassie for their second goal.

  11. Amateurish at their 2nd.

  12. Devoid of confidence due to the dross and instability in front of him.

No coincidence he kept clean sheets galore with a settled back 4 and Van Dijk, now he doesn't know which loanee will be playing out of position next.

Still no excuses for his flappyness and lack of command tho, Forster got pelters for that but was far superior a goalkeeper overall.

Really worrying at the moment. I've been calling for Kennedys head lately due to the amount we've been conceding from set pieces but he can't be held accountable for Gordon not coming for a ball like that.

  13. Izaguire (up untill his backwards 3 year old mentality shown through) played well tonight and i think that's due to him being dropped recently and working on his flaws.

Could do wonders for both Bailey and Gordon for Craig to be dropped for a few games.

  14. Exactly what I came to post.

He seems to * himself in these big games.

Other than playing for Scotland he's never really played in any huge games, and it clearly shows.

  15. He is a good keeper, he just isn't Fraser Forster.

  16. everyone in the team are finding their feet after a shaky start i think

he played well in the qualifiers

but needs to command his penalty box

  17. That's literally the case, mate.

  18. I can't really blame him for their second goal tonight, that ball into the box was perfect. As soon as it left the guys foot you knew it was going to be * to deal with.

  19. It was an absolute * of a ball to deal with. Pretty much perfect delivery from the lad.
