Don't know how much truth is in it as it's the Daily Ranger but according to them Balde knocked back a loan move to Sunderland. He's quite happy to sit earning 30k a week.
This boils my blood! :47: How can a guy who cannot pass or shoot ever get a 5 year contract worth that sort of cash. Care to answer Mr O'Neill???

was is right not anymore he lacks ambition would rather play in the reserves and pick up his money
-

This is your modern day footballer for you it's a job not a sport for them..
Us as fans can't believe anyone would not want to be playing every week, but if someone offered you a job with huge wages and you didn't need to do it would you not bite thier hand off?? I would. -

he started off well for us bobo going to get you and all that but with ball at his feet he is useless and cant pass 3 yards without * it up its nice money for nothing

anyone know his number looking a loan
-
think its the same situtation as that italian striker the huns had sat in reserves for about ten years and took the money
-
It * me off when people assume that a sportsman like Bobo would rather play in the reserves than paly 1st team football. Maybe Bobo is past him best, but I still think if he's called upon he will be okay.
To say he's one of the worst centre halves you've ever seen is just plain idiotic.
Just because you resent him getting the wage he gets whilst not playing in the first team is no need to dismiss him as useless. I mean, when did you last see him play?
People assume that because a player is not in the first team and hasn't featured for some time, he must be crap.
It would have been nice to get him off the wage bill but if he wants to stay put and try and get in the first team then that's fine by me. That's what we call loyalty. -
you moan when someone wants to leave the club but when they want to stay you give them abuse. what do you want?

Balde done his job at CP i'll thank him for that, but it looks like hes gonna stay here for the rest of his what 3 years contract? Unless we pay him off, yeah he rejected to go to Sunderland for a medical so in that case i guess hes happy sitting on the bench earning lots a cash and playing in B Team.. :38:

Firstly, if Bobo was a sportsman who would rather play 1st team football than reserves then why not go to Sunderland? I'm sure Keane didn't want him for his reserves. As i understand it loan players wages are paid for in part if not whole by the club taking him on loan so he wasn't going to lose out on his 30k wage packet
Secondly, the only way he will get a game this season is if anyone of the FIVE centre halves in front of him suffer due to injuries.
Last, Loyalty? Remember the Scottish Cup final against DU when at the end of the game he gave his big swansong running waving to the fans cos he thought he was leaving during the summer? The only thing is NO ONE wanted to take on his wage packet cos quite simply he is not worth that sort of money.
This debate will always throw up 'i like him' 'i don't' fans,i'm in the latter. -
He needs to know he has long outstayed his welcome. He would have left a cult herro of sorts if he had just gone a couple of seasons back but he is doing a Thommo and tainting the memory of his primitive but inspirational contribution a few years back. It may be nice for him and his family to collect the money but I am a fan and I am not interested inhs personal cirumstznces and am only interested in the harm it is doing the club. Balde and Thomo's contracts were sheer stupidily by MON and a symptom of how he let the club decline after Seville. I am surprised he didnt just give Rab Douglas a 50 year contract while he was at it. Go Balde. GTF. You do not have the quality to play in a passing team like we have now and you are about 6th choice centre back. You aint ever going to play again and you know it.

balde used to be good for us, but he serves no purpose in our squad now. we should try and offload him, but we will have to wait until january at the earliest to do that now.
