CELTIC INTERESTED IN AJETI
Celtic have expressed an interest in signing West Ham forward Albian Ajeti, Sky Sports News understands.
Neil Lennon is very keen on the Swiss international and the club have made inquiries about his availability – for a loan or a permanent deal.
The Scottish champions face competition from a number of Premier League clubs, who are monitoring Ajeti’s situation.
The Swiss international has struggled to break into the West Ham side, following his £8million move from Basel last summer

His goal scoring record is okay but for £8m,nah, unless it was loan to buy.

Would probably take him on loan with an option.

Loan with an option to buy for about £5/6m would be ideal.littlekennie likes this. -
Meant to have had a good partnership with Elyounoussi at Basel.

Completely different striker to Edouard, more of a penalty box striker that plays on the shoulder.
He was pretty good at Basel and still young at 23

Watching the video above he looks like a good finisher and surprisingly good in the air given he isn't the tallest. I don't think he could play the loan striker role. In terms of signing vs a loan where the later with an option would be preferable it sounds like West Ham want a sale so it will come down to whether or not there is much other interest.
If there isn't I would be tempted to offer significantly less than the supposed £6m asking price, he was only signed for £8m and seems well out the picture with Moyes.Last edited: Jul 24, 2020 -
