I would bench Zurawski against Man Utd, he may need a shake up, and I would play Miller, he can hustle, harass, and he gets goal assists, anyhoo we shall see! :86:

i love posts like this one...

my question is: how many times he has been finally found out? first time after bad start of the prveious season. he was the worst player celtic have ever had. Second time after scoring many goals for celtic. 'sorry magic' 'we were wrong' 'you deserve the praise' etc etc etc... and now is the third time after another bad start of the season: ' he's *, he hasn't even scored these 23 goals it were aliens or anything else'.

    * me... anybody can dream right? is it wrong Magic told us about his dreams? he haven's said: i expect i'll play for Barca someday' but 'playing for Barca was always my dream' (i guess this is a dream of at least 60% football players all over the world... i guess there are some playing for Celtic right now).

Yes he played pish on WC just like all polish nt. and after this wc slagging on Magic became very trendy especially in Poland but nobody knows why. Everyone who thought he will be winning games for us by himself must be a true football fool. He's not that kind of striker.
Heres similar situation. This guy was a leader and best striker of the team which have qualified to WC. People were calling him 'hero'. After WC he became '*'.

don't get me wrong i also think that Magic is not at good shape this season and a bench is waiting for him for some time and he deserves criticism right now but it doesn't mean he deserves slagging ffs!

Totally disagree with Rendog67, barring injury, Magic would probably scored 30 or more goals last season, he started off slowly, but in my opinion this was more down to Hartson playing up front with him, Hartson was never any good in a partnership, until he scored, Magic was running the channels well and linking up well with the midfield. After breaking his duck, he went on to be a prolific striker for us last season until his injury.
He's started off slowly again this season, but is still scoring, he is the most natural finisher we have at the club, and if you think he's lazy, * knows what you thought about BBJ. Magic and big Jan V of H have only played together twice, but once they properly click, I feel they will be our preferred strike partnership, give Magic a little more time, perhaps he's still a little sluggish after the World Cup, but I believe he'll be top scorer again this season, he is proven at european and national level, and was giving England the run around before his hamstring injury.
Have faith, Magic will come good again, at least we have more options this season, and a lot more mobility up front.
I can see Strachan going with 4-5-1 on wednesday, which probably means V of H up front on his own.

Harston created more goals for Magic than anyone else. They both work well with each other:97:

I think Magic's success last season was made by three players: Magic himself, Petrov and Hartson. As you can see this trio don't exist anymore.

We have new players instead of Petrov and Hartson and it will take some time until they learn how to play with each other.

the problem is - there's no time. we play against man u on wednesdey... who believes strachan knows what to do? :84:

I would fancy Miller to start at Old Trafford....imo Zurawski was a passenger against Aberdeen

Id agree with that. Im not convinced miller is going to get to grips with his game in time to save his celtic career, but magic has to be dropped in order to raise his workrate.

Thank * for VoH, thats all im saying!!!

I think the biggest mistake of GS this season was not testing Riordan. Ok we have JVOH (who played average during last game IMO anyway) but while both Miller and Zurawski don't seem to play on a good level at the moment it would be better to know what Riordan can give the team...

Can´t understand why some peeps here are so unfair to Zurawski!!! If he wouldn´t score against the Rangers I don´t think Celtic could get the last title!!! He did not only score he also gaves assists!!!

Why are some so blind and slag everytime on players which gave their heart for the club - I can´t understand it!!!

mate .. zurawski is a great striker when on form .. but realise your dwelling on last season ... this season has been a non starter for him .. and we have great competition upfront now .. so if ya aint doing it / contributing / next guy gets a chance ...so far 3 goals yes but i expect much more from him was non existent on saturday and 1 or 2 games previously he needs to work on his game more work ethic outwith when not scoring goals.... and no its not slagging any one player such as magic or naka etc ... its more constructive critisicm if anything we know they can bring thier a game .. but sometimes they dont ... they need to perform week in week out .. realise this not when it feels like it.

lads zurawskis a brilliant player and him and hartson were the men on top last season. I reckon zurawski will just eventually fit into his new surroundings of Venegoor of Hesselink n Graveson and get his new striking partner VoH

Fair play mate, most of them what you wrote is right. But remember if you bench him he also won´t score goals.

I really don't like slagging off Celtic players and it's nothing personal, but every game i have watched him play in for celtic and poland i just don't like him as a player he has nothing about him at all IMO.

Listen, everyone of us, as celtic fans, has the right to criticise anyone in a celtic jersey if they are not performing to a standard we want to see. * sake, everyone bar a few criticise Neil Lennon for not being the player he was, even though he's putting in much more productive shifts than 'magic'!!

Anyone sticking up for Zurawski is living in the past, and have no reason to disagree with the people who are criticising the man. MZ is not producing the goods at the minute, and when he starts to give us the performances his wage and stature deserves, every person on this board will praise him as long as he IS producing.

And the same goes with any player, when standards drop we urge the player/s in question to up their game, even if it means heavy criticism

    Hail Hail :shamrock:

People are beginning to see what I seen Months ago. He is not good enough, he is the exact same every game(most). Magic, the only magic he can do is a dissapearing act.

2.1 Million, for what he gives us(which is nothing). No where near worth it.

Waste of money.(Don't care what others who support him will say, I have had this opinion for months, and nothing has occured to make me change my opinion).

He is not good enough for Celtic.
