I was standing behind Lawwell in McDonalds this morning.

He asked for a Sausage and Egg McMuffin.
The girl behind the till said "£2.19 please".

He asked if he could taste the McMuffin first to see if he wanted to buy the whole thing.
    She said "No".
He asked if he could pay for the McMuffin in four installments.
    She said "No".
    This clearly surprised Lawwell.
Somebody else in the queue said they'd wanted to buy the McMuffin, but Lawwell turned to me and said he was still confident in buying the McMuffin.

Apparantly, Lawwell is still trying to engage the girl in bargaining over his McMuffin.

Celtic have been given until the weekend to settle a deal for Wisla Krakow striker Maciej Zurawski.

The Bhoys have agreed on a fee with the Polish outfit for the striker, but the terms of the payments apparently were not to their liking.

Celtic chief executive Peter Lawwell has flown to Poland to try and settle the matter, but Krakow are not sure if the deal will now go through.

Turkish duo Trabzonspor and Besiktas are watching with interest, and Wisla have now given Celtic until the weekend to sort out the transfer.

"We were prepared for a positive outcome to our talks," Wisla spokesman Jerzy Jurczynski told the Evening Times.

"We wanted to present Zurawski as a Celtic player, and we still want to do this. But, I'm not sure if that will really be done now.

"Peter Lawwell was a little surprised we didn't want to go for the compromise, but we don't think we have to because we also have offers for Zurawski from different clubs.

"We've presented our conditions and talked about the details.

"They were tough business negotiations - now the final decision is up to the Celtic board.

"We will wait for an answer until the end of the week. If it is positive, Zurawski will appear on Sunday to train with his new team. "If not, we will talk with other teams, but I can't confirm if that will be Besiktas."

A proposal. I dont like the word proposal. Proposal suggests.. "we hear what yer saying, we know you've given us a deadline, aye, ye told us ye didnae want to negotiate as ye had other offers.... but how about this?

Lets hope the proposal is that we accept yer terms, and how about ye get the boy on the next plane to Glesgae, and ask him if he wants a large or extra large shirt?

Nothing but newspaper reports. The last is about Lawwell who said that he is sure that Żuraw would be Celtic striker this week, yesterday Celtic board didnt decide anything becouse they were buying trainig centre and they had no time. But it is Daily Records article so....

It seems that Maciej Żurawski is only a eventually option for Celtiu Glasgow.
Scottish menagers are negotiating with Craig Bellamy from Newcastle-says today newspapers.

    - Celtic need four class strikers. Three of them already are in Celtic, so in this situation it`s impossible to buy both of them(Bellamy and Zuraw). One of them is an alternative option for second, but still priorytaire is to sign Bellamy.
Steve McGowan, journalist of „Daily Mail” said that it was a rison of scotish menagers play on time at monday in Krakov. They know that when Craig will accept they offer, Zuraw wouldn`t be need.
Problem is in fact that Everton also want to buy Craig and give for him 6mln pounds(!)
It could be too much for Celtic.

Just had a phone call from Lawwell there...

He's in talks with Sebastian Coe. He's asked Lord Coe to prepare a presentation to Wisla board as to why they should accept Celtic's proposals for the Zurawski transfer.

Lets be honest here, Bellars is gonna go to the highest bidder and thats unlikely to be us is it. If we dont get our finger out we will lose Zurawski, we are beginning to look stupid and thats me looking as a Celtic fan, can you imagine how we are looking throughout the rest of Europe?

Message to the board, the fans make this club what it is, reward us for our support and * sign some decent players or just * off and we will buy the club off ya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
