Where does he play? seen a lot of mixed opinions of him being a striker/attacking mid player?

He can be a striker/att midfielder. Kind of the way Sutton used to play I suppose. He plays behind the 2 strikers for China.

I'm ashamed at the ammount of people judging a signing before he has even been pictured holding up the Hoops.

How can anybody slate a free transfer? Especially when it will more like bring in a fair share of money for the club considering he is the captain of the country with the largest population. Worst that can happen is that he'll be a back up player but there's also a fair chance he'll become a good goal scoring midfielder for us.

 

I am happy with this! Him and Ki are both quality players and shirt sales is not why they are going to be signing! Both internationals and i think espacially Ki being young will be very good signings! Midfield by January:

Zheng will be good for commercial reasons and i hope he does the busines on the park. If not then we will make more money than what we spend on wages.

yeh, its like people slating the owen to united transfer. ok, we are not man united and Zhi isnt Owen. but its free, its good business, its a win / win situation. If he is magic, then great.. if he is pish then he was free so * it, sell him for a profit of a couple hundred grand.

I think this guy can do well here. Watched him in Champ few times and looks decent. Not very good, but decent. Anyway, he's well above SPL standard anyway and he's brought here to help us retain our title. Free transfer as well, good move for playing, commercial and financial side of the transfer.

 

he is an all round good addition, and i think its a bit harsh people are judging him before he's even passed his medical?

he's going to help shirt sales in china, he's going to bring an even more attacking role to our midfield ( if/when he plays ) , and will probably link up well with fortune im guessing, as the guy seems a very goal orientated midfielder.

we will pay next to nothing in wages, for an international captain thats great! and he will probably be used as a squad player if he doesnt do well in his first few months.
