Hello,
Fist of allsorry for my English...
I'm a Celtic fan from Poland. I like Celtic very much - it is my favourite team. I have a question for You.
I don't know how to name it in English, but in Polish it's name is"zgoda". It means that the fans of two teams like each other... I'dlike to ask You: what "zgoda" do You have? I have heard something but Iwould like to know something more about:
St. Pauli
Villarreal
Liverpool
Man Utd
Ajax Amsterdam
These are the teams which as I heard have a "zgoda" with You. I wouldlike to know if they really are your "friends"... For example when Iwas watching a match Man Utd - Celtic I could hear that the Man Utdfans were whistling when You were singing "You'll never walk alone".
Could You please tell me more about it?
Thank You very much

welcome and hail hail to our new polish member tkrass
celtic have a good relationship with st. pauli, because like us, they are generally left wing and are against mindless hooligans.
man utd booed you'll never walk alone because their english rivals, liverpool, also sing that song:87:
personally other teams that i like are boca juniors and barcelona, but i can't talk for the other celtic fans. however we do have a good relationship with polish and croatian fans, probably because of the catholic origins of the club and because 95% of our fans are catholic, though unlike rangers we are not sectarian/have religious discrimination
anyway, hope you're good and welcome to this forum, hail hail

in my ecperience of being in holland i found feyenoord to like celtic supporters more than ajax do and i have been over to watch feyenoord in rotterdam with my hoops on and a flag and found loads of feyenoord fans saking my hand in the stadium one even bought my flag off me loved it there.
Even some of there fans wear the hoops to there home games its quite weird thing to do but i saw them wearing millwall tops and that tooLast edited by a moderator: Oct 13, 2006 -

celtic have made many friends with clubs over the years because of our fans being so friendly:celt_2: :shamrock:
I can remember in Villireal when they beat us 2-0, and we were all swapping scraves and the villireal fans sang "glasgow de celtic" at the end of the match and they waved the celtic buses off to the airport -

Celtic fans have enjoyed good relations with loads of clubs over the years.
You've mentioned quite a few, but I'd like to add Barcelona. We've met a few times recently and the trip over there is always nice
:50: -
If anyone here was in Stuttgart they`d have to be added. We were all in this huge square and thousands of Germans just came along to have a party. Best away trip I`ve ever had.

bordeaux was amazing o'neils first year in charge, i remember when larsson scored landing about 4 rows in front, and "cheerio 10 in a row" lasting an eternity

Thank You for your answer. But I meant a kind of a officialfriendship, when the fans of both teams are regullary going on theothers team matches to support it.
I'd also like to know something more about Your relationship with:Liverpool, Ajax. How is it possible that fans of both teams - Ajax andFeyo which hate each other so much - they both like us?
Thenk You very much!:shamrock: -

Dunno if there's an official relationship, but I reckon there's a deeper friendship with St. Pauli.
Some fans like Liverpool, some Man Utd, some Feyenoord etc. But nothing "official" -

Hibs--after all if it wasnt for Hibs there'd be no Celtic

I have to say i haven't read the first post before i replied, i only read the topic "zgoda". I don't kile this term to be translated as frienship or liking between clubs because in Poland football hooligans use it as a non-aggresion pact or coaltion pact against other clubs. I'm not saying that it's like that in 100% cases but i just feel that that word is wrong. Apologies to anyone who i may have offended.

I only support 1 team Celtic. I do tend to look out for results of clubs who employ any of our previous players or employers though i.e Barcelona last season, Aston Villa, Wycombe, Sunderland, and now norwich. I wont mind seeing any of the above do well.

I know, but I don't mean single fans but I mean official fans groups. These who are cheering on the matches.
