Building a team that should be more comfortable on the ball ,atm inexperience is a big problem for our team ,and manager may not be here to see them become more experienced ,more likely lennon or clark will benefit from this ,it was hard to watch the total lack of trust in the players for each other ,the magic and flow has gone with the trust .

    I'm over it.

European football after Xmas is a massive achievement considering most other european teams and leagues are getting wealthier. We progressed in 2004 but much has changed since then.no excuse for tonight, but its realistic

Mate Delia progressed after Xmas in Europe and the last 32 performance his team put in against inter Milan with 10 men for practically most of the 2nd leg showed more fight and steel than that * tonight

So we got * expected to get beat tbh we should have taken 4 off them last week, absolutely no point delving into all the * of defence and no money being spent because the suits in charge are ultra conservative, and when we are in Europe it's impossible to hide their * attitude to it all they have no ambition, and that negative attitude from them drips down to the fans and players. In saying all that we really could benefit as a club from real competition on the domestic scene just as long as it's not done by cheating officials and clubs

To an extent yes except I would say that defensively in both legs they were very good.

We were powder puff offensively tonight and didn't put them under any sort of pressure, similar to their performance last week.

I have no problem with the keep the ball first and be patient mentality that Rodgers goes for but tonight we created next to nothing all night. It got better in the second half when the subs came in but by then we were already chasing the game and Zenit were very good defensively. We had very little genuine width in the game and until Sinclair and Rogic came on we never looked like we would or could open them up either collectively or with some individual magic.

What plagued Celtic tonight was defending. Them goals to concede were weak.

This team lacks steel and courage (as in taking players and chances in the final 3rd).
Too much tippy tippy from many Pamby wanna be EPL players.

    They're soft.

I'm not gonna mention the defence as I'd be here all night.

I think big Jozo can put himself about...unfortunately I also think he wants away which is affecting his performances.

Players need to start taking responsibility to play a killer pass. It looks as if they are scared to lose possession rather than be positive.

It’s very depressing to be a Celtic fan in European competitions
