just home reading the site..........its killing me 2 goals up and outta europe AGAIN....boruc should never have gone FACT .... i said 4 months ago zaluska is not and should never be our number 1 and 80% of people on this site said he was fantastic............BALLS he lost us 3 games at the end of last season........ fuking cracking up gonna watch highlights now blocked and * of big time

 

I really am not into slagging players but this guy is a Donkeys Waloper ,,who slept with a Goalie .

Anyone else feel a bit sorry for him?

I agree he's not good enough, but i also think he's been done by the pressure of having to replace Boruc, as he was such a character and a legend to the fans and the club.

 

if he cant handle that pressure he shoudlnt be here in the first place. it was always of course going to be hard for any keeper to follow artur, and so far it doesnt look like zaluska can handle it, as much as i'd like to see him do so

 

anyone else think he is saying to himself, "i'm not going to be in goals anyway so, why bother trying."

 

This is it all in a nutshell, Zaluska and a good few others are just not up to the job of playing for a club like Celtic. No matter how hard we kid ourselves and blind ourselves with loyalty we are on the decline. Buying low grade players leads to low grade performances and that is what we got last night. No amount of "We are Celtic Suporters Through and Through" will improve anything until we start to "buy" good proven quality players. If we cannot afford them as I am sure countless people will point out then we need to rain in the expectation, go to summer football and become the league of Ireland or such, because that is now the level we find ourselves at with the current state of affairs!! Not qualifying for this * is as low as it gets!!

We as a club are showing * all ambition and our current business strategy is strangling the business slowly but surely. How amany season books next year? Crowds this year? Are we still worthe £600 a season to watch!!!

 

Just woken up, after sleeping on it, I'm even angrier with Zaluska. If you get your hand to the ball on a penalty, * keep your wrist strong and knock it away. And when the opposition are charging towards your goal, make sure you're standing in the middle with a good view of the ball, and get ready to * dive when they unleash a strike.

 

It might not have been a loss.

The problem was that we couldn't match his wage demand as quoted by our own board.

 

Tbh i was one of those who was impressed by Zaluska pre-Celtic.

I defended him at the start of the season against other poster on TC.

The guy has shown time and time again he is not good enough to be Celtic no.1.

Not commanding enough, DREADFUL kicker of the ball.

Perhaps he has been overshadowed by Boruc, and trying to replace a player of his class is(was) never going to be easy, but we need a Goalkeeper who is going to be ready and step up to the plate.

Sorry Zaluska it is not you!

 

for the 3rd goal he was about 5 feet off his line - why was he out so far? it wasnt a cross, he should have stayed on his line and he would have had no problem saving the shot.

I actually * myself evertime the ball goes to his feet.

Never in my lifetime have i seen a goalkeeper who puts himself under so much pressure by taking 1 or 2 touches instead of just putting his * laces through the ball!

 

Thought we might be awright with Zaluska but i'm sadly mistaken. I shat myself every time one of their players looked to line up a shot, and the less said about him wi the ball at his feet the better. I'm almost certain he used to be good - looking maybe like his confidence is totally shot.

 

I was the opposite mate ,Alarm Bells rang loud in my ears when he covered for Boruc last season but benefit of the doubt was given to him from myself each week on him but the clincher was the Dundee Utd game up there ,2 goals from corners from 3 to 6 yards out and a Goalie stuck on his line when he has the tools to attack the ball with his hands,fists ,which should mean he can jump abot 2 -3 feet higher than attackers ,also knee's when going out for a corner should be used but he does'nt ,he is a poor goalie from what ive seen of him .

 

What hope do we have if the ones he gets to flap through his * wrists?

Can't blame Zaluska for not saving the penalties, they are always a lottery anyway. Although conceding one didn't help.

However this is an opportunity for Forster. The guy is highly rated and I certainly favour giving him the no. 1 jersey and a run in the team.

 

Well he done good at Dundee Utd, and when stepping in for Boruc last season, he done the job, albeit not as well as Artur, but it was still decent imho. But since pre-season, i have just lost faith in him. It actually feels to me like when we play, theres no goal keeper at all! I don't know how many screamers have been scored into us since the start of pre-season! His bad goal-keeping makes the opposition look better!

 

Zaluska for me is another Rab Douglas not near good enough!
