As the title says, the first one I can always remember was John Paul McBride:

He was not.

Dougie McGuire in the mid 80's think he only got a couple of app's, one in Europe tho. but he lived in same street as me when I was younger and we thought he'd go on to big things, not to be for him sadly. Think we sold him to Coventry.

John Paul McBride was the next Paul McStay and after that I always thought Mark Burchill was going to be an absolute star. He didn't have a bad career to be fair, just not as good as I thought it would be

och nearly forgot, Stevie Fulton, touted by big Caesar as the next Baggio. Had so much hope that he would hit the heights but another who didn't quite make the grade.

I know we got pumped by PSG but he wasn't at all fazed by Suarez. He might still do it. -

Really liked Paul Caddis when he broke through. Felt we got rid of him a bit too soon. Same goes for Jackson Irvine.
As above, McGeouch is another one. Was at the St Mirren game as well and that goal was different class. -
