Pleasantly surprised to see Henderson and now O'Connell start games and has been wondering if any more will get a decent run between now and the end of the season.

Herron has been scoring a lot in the u20s as far as I know.

Marcus Fraser was on the bench and the weekend. Lenny was planning on giving him a run post-split last season before he got injured. Hopefully the lad hasn't missed too much football to hit the heights he was tipped for.

Any thoughts on who we might see? Alot of the lads e.g. George and Findlay are out on loan.

Or after dropping points on Sat, do you think Lenny will play it safe to go for 100 points? Dropping Henderson would be the wrong way to go about that IMO.

 

Neil Lennon will play a strong team from now to the end of the season . He will want to give the players that are going to the World Cup a rest but at the same time he won't throw on youngsters for the sake of giving them a game . He can play Henderson quite a bit but bearing in mind he is only 17 . Lennon has to be careful he doesn't over play him , he is only a boy.

 

Would be nice to see aswell as all those mentioned denny johnstone get a game or 2,clavin miller although his age to get a run or 2 off the bench maybe and one or two others threatening..

 

Anyone know if/when Twardzik is back? Been impressed with him when he's featured in the past, hopefully he can come back from injury just as strong and feature more regularly.

 

He was on the bench v St Mirren so he must be free from injury now

 

Friðjónsson, Baldé, Pukki, Boerrigter and Henderson need games. Filip Twardzik, Fraser & O'Connell might get some game time as well. O'Connell doesn't look ready to me but maybe nerves played a part on Saturday.

 

I'd like to see Fisher get a few more runs.

I'd go all out experimental til the end of the season.

I hate this saying... You Can't over play someone by giving them the best part of 7 -8 games... If the bhoy's got it he will be able to (and want to) Play in all the remaining games. Footballer's Don't get better at football by sitting on the bench!

I couldn't give a toss about getting 100 points. It is of no value whatsoever - it is just a round number.

Give the young guys a go and give the guys going to the world cup a bit of a rest. Decide who is wanted next year and who isn't and start trying partnerships and tactics that we might use going forward. We might as well use this time to try and improve with next season in mind rather than chasing invented targets with the usual faces.

Full time 2-0 for the young bhoys, sounds like the youths have torn them a new one, completely dominant from the start of the game, when you think of all the players out on loan and not playing because of injury or in Henderson's case with the first team its even more impressive.
