  1. Cracking header that.

    Striker wanted it more.

  2. We'll beat these at home if we start Duffy on the bench.

  3. Our defence is a shambles.

  4. Really unlucky today.

2 centre back's are pish and the keeper isn't very good or confident..

Duffy the right back is atrocious..

Never a 5-2 game but if you can't defend then you can't make excuses..

  5. Duffy, the 2 center backs and keeper were brutal.

Midfield and attack were very good, we outplayed them the majority of the game. If we had a defence we would have at least got a draw there.

Johnston was immense. Hendo was very impressive. Hendry, Miller and Watson were decent. Wee Jack was quieter than usual but we know what he's capable of.

We will beat them next game.

  6. Ryan Mullen is 16 will get better with more games.

  7. TOMMY McIntyre’s under-19 Celtic side endured a frustrating afternoon against Bayern Munich who scored six goals to take all three points and move to the top of Group B. The young Hoops responded well in the second-half with two goals, having trailed 3-0, and they were unlucky not to equalise before Bayern extended their lead further to run out 6-2 winners.

Tommy McIntyre’s side came into the game high in confidence after defeating Anderlecht 2-1 in Brussels, but Bayern Munich took the lead in the 26th minute after Frank Evina capitalised on an error when Celtic attempted to clear. The winger’s latched on to the stray ball and produced a powerful strike from distance which rocketed into the bottom corner.

The German side doubled their lead just a few minutes later when Celtic failed to clear a lofted cross to the back post. Felix Gotze was able to turn the ball behind amidst a scramble to clear the danger.

The Hoops then fell further behind on the brink of half-time. Oliver Batista Meier brought the ball down inside the area with an excellent touch that created enough space for him to fire the ball back across goal. Robbie Deas could do little to prevent the ball ricocheting off him and going over the line.

The young Celts came out in the second-half far more assertive and efficient going forward as they went in search of a way back into the game. Mikey Johnston and Ewan Henderson were excellent going forward and linked up well.

It looked like only a matter of time until Celtic found the goal they deserved and, unsurprisingly, it was Johnston who was the scorer. Broque Watson surged down the right wing and fired a great ball into the box where Johnston created enough space for himself to drive a low shot into the net.

The Hoops now had the momentum and continued to attack with short, slick passing and intelligent movement off the ball, and they reduced the deficit further in the 68th minute when some more magic from Johnston saw him dribble past two Bayern Munich defenders and slip the ball to Henderson, who found the back of the net with a powerful shot.

Celtic came close on a couple of occasions to equalising before Marin Pudic restored the home side's two-goal lead in the 73rd minute. Bayern captain, Wintzheimer, scored two more goals in last few minutes to make it 6-2, a scoreline which didn't reflect the efforts of the Celtic team, particularly in the second-half.

  8. No centre halves coming through any time soon by the sounds of it then.

Excited at Mikey Johnston, sounds like he's getting back on track. Hope he stays fit.

  9. Mikey makes it 1-0.

  10. Half time 1-0
