Aye I like the pace we play at. Thought we handled any pressure they gave us well but that was a brilliant goal they scored. We did have a scary moment clearing it off the line but everything else we cleared well. Ralston especially with a brilliant goal stopping header.

Aitcheson should have scored for us and a pity the ball came off Miller's arm cause that was a nice finish.

Love how Jim McGuinness when asked about soccer and GAA calls them 'invasion' games, there's attack and defence. Never heard them called invasion games before :smiley-laughing002: Very skilful game GAA so good to have him on our staff.

Cheers Priest :50: Think I'll watch the final of the Development squad game and record the Leicester game.

Aye second half especially we were great.

Hat's off to Nesbitt for that brilliant cross for Miller's first goal and whoever played the through ball for Miller's second, that was class. Lindsay didn't need an assist :icon_mrgreen:

Like the way our defence look quite comfortable on the ball when bringing it out.

Crossan looks like he might be good, produced a beautiful piece of skill to turn a player.

THIS season's revamped Irn Bru Cup will feature the development squads of all the SPFL Premiership sides. And the Hoops, playing as 'Celtic Colts', face a tie against League Two side, Annan Athletic.
The game will take place on Tuesday, August 2 at Cappielow (KO: 7.45pm), and fans can go along to cheer on Tommy McIntyre's young Celtic side against their more experienced opponents.
And the Celtic coach said that his side will go into the competition looking to strike a balance between developing and winning.
“It’s a mixture of both,” he told the Celtic View. “On one hand it’s about development. Our young players want to get to the first-team and there have been one or two training with them under the new manager. He has been really impressed by the young players that have come up, so that’s good.
“But obviously we want to progress as far as we can because we feel we need these types of games. We get it in the Premier League International Cup and we get it in the UEFA Youth League so it’s one of many opportunities we have to develop our young players.”

Calvin Miller had stagnated a bit a while ago but seems to be progressing again. Good to see, he had enormous potential.

For those who are in love.....
Watched the second half of the Sociedad game anf thought we were excellent. We really play some good stuff with this batch..

Miller was always a player, and maybe did stagnate, but I'd say he was playing with older boy's in the development and from last year has started really shining again..

Both those finishes were top class. He's got to be in the pipeline for a loan soon..

CELTIC'S Under-15 squad have won the Hughes Insurance Foyle Cup with a 1-0 victory over Derry Colts in the final.
The prestigious competition, held in Derry, features a number of top youth teams, and the Hoops triumphed thanks to a goal from Adam Montgomery.
