    Today close in off my local beach were 3 male Common Scoter and a fishing Red Throated Diver,also a Grey Seal that went past close by.

    Late morning and a cool Chough called as it flew over me on my local beach,also a couple of briefly singing Curlews,they and indeed me remembering the moors in spring.

    Well in just 4 weeks time i will be on my 2nd day of a 14 night stop in the highlands,me my boxer dog daughter,the scenery,ultra wildlife,cool pubs,friendly people and with a bit of luck another cool type of bird!

    I found a cool female Black Redstart on the seafront just 2 miles from my house at midday which is cool,first one i have seen for a good while.

    Oh Mygirlmaria not sure of you ever go near here,but Largo Bay in Fife,off Leven is very good for Common Scoter and many many more species of seaduck,grebes,Divers etc etc
    I am going to nip down there with my Boxer Dog Jasmine while i am up in the Highlands,cannot wait!

    Yesterday around my local patch 3 Redwing and a Fieldfare flew overhead,also a hunting Kestrel,a pair of Ravens and 4 Chough mobbing a Buzzard.
