The M on your camera is for manual Sioux, it means you can control the settings to suit the light or lack of it, if you can work out how to change the settings in manual mode let me know and if you want i can suggest how you can take more control in low or bright light :50:

Nice one, cheers. Bought the Mrs a Canon DSLR a wee while back (can't remember the model) but the picture quality is nowhere near as good as yours from what I've seen. Came without instructions tho, was supposed to download them but we never got round to it so been operating it on the sort of standard set up. No idea what all the modes do etc so would prob be an idea to get hold of them I suppose. Anyway, crackin pictures mate.

You could enter the camera model into a you tube search, there's bound to be a video or two explaining the basic operations.:50:

Despite the cold hints of real Spring in my garden this afternoon while I was actually doing the garden. A singing Male Linnet with the first signs of his lovely Summer Plumage coming through was my tree adding to a stunning Male singing Siskin in the same place last week:84:
Then 15 minutes later my first Willow Warbler Of the year landed in my tree and sang it’s lovely song briefly before feeding and moving on.
Then a couple of roads away while taking Ruby Roo for her daily 2nd Walk a loan Swallow flew overhead.
When I got back as i put my recycling and Garden waste out a Raven flew over my house harassed by a Carrion Crow.

That is a cool pair of Little Grebes Johnie. Not called Little Grebe for nothing, they really are small Water birds. Their young are tiny!!:84:
My favourite place to see these handsome wee Water Birds is Loch Gynack near Kingussie.

They are generally resident but can be forced elsewhere if the weather gets very cold Johnie.
In The winter they have very drab plumage and can often be overlooked as they are mostly silent then. But in the Spring and summer they have that cool crazy call and lovely plumage. :50:

Saw 3 birds of prey hovering in the sky just circling really high , i know they where not ,Buzzards , Eagles or Ospreys.
There was plenty of gulls and pigeons in the sky ,,, but they didn't go for any of them which surprised me.
