Don't get angry mate we all have fans who are over the top. Zurawski was poor like most of our players the other night but give him a chance and he will shine through!!!
I would have Maloney Zurawski and Aliadere up front, to hit them with everything we have got.

Apologies to all our Polish friends for the abuse of Zurawski.

Maloney is very eager.. he should start alongside Zurawski. Thrown in a third striker perhaps, but don't put "Magic" on the flanks or behind the strikers, he has a tendency of dropping back a bit to help out when the team is defending, if you put him on the AM position he will stick in midfield too much.

i’m sorry but i wrote a bit more than just starting 11. first of all Straloserchan gotta go totally offensive, ther'e not much left to risk, so he can't play 4 defenders. so starting formation should be : 3-1-4-2

    gk: boruc

    def:
    Telfer
    McManus
    O'Dea

all as central defenders, staying in own box, no offensive tasks, no * long passes. they only have to sweep the ball out of the box if anybody dares to come and pass (short passes!) the ball to Lennon

    def mid: Lennon
and i mean very defensive, playing between def and mid, trying to kill any counter - attacks before they get close to penalty box and passing balls from defenders forward (short passes again!)

mid (well… not that i really believe they’re good enough (in this form), but is there any other choice?):
    Agathe
    Petrov
    McGeady
    Thompson

should be in their half practically all the time, they don’t have to produce brilliant opportunities at all cost, just lots and lots of short passes, i say – let them (Artmedia players of course) run! and they should try not to get to tired in the first half an hour.

    fwd:
Maloney – all I want from him is “run Forest, run“ and make their defenders run too
Hartson – well, yes. he probably won’t score, but that’s not the point, he just has to run like crazy, bump into their defenders, shoulder to shoulder all the time, and I mean we have to see them on the ground a few times at least!

the plan is to make them tired as much as possible in the first 30 minutes and not lose a goal of course. If anybody scores – great! but the real attack on their goal should start after this half an hour.

Hartson and the worst midfielder should be substituted by Aliadeiere and Zurawski, Maloney stays, the new formation should be 3-4-3, Lennon moves more forward (if he is not the one to get substituted) to midfield, O'Dea should start to play just before the other 2 defs (not as much forward as Lennon before, just few meters) trying to kill attacks while the other keep very close to the goal and sweep the ball out if he doesn’t succeed.

well, I know this may sound crazy, but you need crazy solutions for crazy situations. and this is one of the worst ever, right?

    waiting for your comments,

    and remember 2 things:
    1. walk on, walk on, with hope in your hearth
    2. it’s not over ‘till the fat lady sings ;)
