Your Player Of The Year (upto 23rd February)

Very hard decision, but my vote went to Hooper. Ledley,Izzy,Kayal and Stokes have all be brilliant aswell. Hooper gets my vote not just for the fact he has scored vital match winning goals for us (vs Dundee Utd, vs St Mirren, also his double vs the huns).
His overall play is top notch, he is a small guy in height, but he plays like a target man the way he bullies defenders off the ball, his upper body strenght is unreal. When Hooper is in the team, i feel alot more confident in getting the result we need.

 

Voted for Izzy but only because Kayal was injured for so long. If he had played it probably would be him

 

Voted for Izzy, though I'm not holding out much hope.

The POTY awards rarely go to defenders, let alone fullbacks & last year was a case in point. Hinkel was by far our best & most consistant player throughout the entire season, but Keane ended up with the gong, even though he had been here for less than 1/2 season.

really is to difficult to pick between hooper kayal and izzy. if ki hadnt gone of to the asian games i think we would also be talking about him in the same sentence

 

I think before Christmas Ki was the best player hands down, after christmas while he was away at the Asian cup its a toss up between Hooper, izzy and kayal, so hard to chose between those three atm, yet i reckon Ki, Hooper, izzy, Brown, Ledley, Kayal, Commons and the whole squad will be players of the year if the end of the season proves to be fruitful, football is a team game and i reckon the whole squad who have chipped in here and there deserve full recognition.

 

For the 1st time in a number of years there are too many players that are worthy of a mention, all for different reasons. I think Kayal has given us something we lacked in M/F for too long and you can see that Brown and Ledley are all working together as a unit. Lenny said the midfield was criticial and he's built a great unit. Big up on signing Commons, I actually didn't think we needed him but what do I know

Hoops, Stokes and Big Freddy have also been immense, all at different times.
Big up to Big Dan and Mulgrini in recent weeks, and to Izzy and Wilson. Izzy has been an absolute revelation, I love his determination and desire.
There's still a long way to go and we may falter, but let's back these Bhoys!

Tough call, would have to be between Izzi and Ledley for me. It would be unfair to say either Kayal or Hooper as they have been injured for quite lengthy periods. I'll say Ledley edges it so far

Emilio only because Hooper has had some injury's and so has Kayal.

 

My personal favourite has been Beram Kayal but he has missed a lot of games through injury so I can't really vote for him.

With Kayal out the running it has to be Emilio Izaguirre. Consistent excellence from the start of the season right up until now. The left-back position has been a weakness for Celtic for years but Izaguirre has now made that position a strength. Great signing.

Kayal, Hooper and Izzy have been incredible but just edging for Izzy because he's played more games.
