It was ESPN’s own Craig Burley. McCurry disallowed a Wright goal and he hit the bar before he scored. I remember they made a big thing before the game because he had always scored on his debut.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />

3. Hearts away some time in the mid-to-late 90s. We won 2-1 I think. McNamara either scored, got an assist or played well. That's all I can remember.

4. Aberdeen v Celtic back in 2009 I think. Got tickets for the away end at Pittodrie. Drew 4-4 and Robbie Keane scored one and set another up. Cracking game/atmosphere. * result

5. Celtic v aberdeen about 2005. Aberdeen went 2-0 in tne first few minutes, john hartson pulled two back, aberdeen scored their third in added time at the end. I wasmt even in the stadium when they scored, i just remember walking out the stadium and hearing a massive cheer from the away end.

6. Celtic v Dundee United. No idea when or what the score was but we won. :celt_2:

7. A 5-1 hammering of Dunfermline around 2001.

8. Celtic 1 - 0 Aberdeen around 1983, I was 5 years old so I can't remember much about it now.

* I feel old here, 1 st game I can remember was Easter road late late 78/79 maybe 1980, I think it was a draw but George Best played for Hibs that day I could go google it but can't be arsed :56:

10. Aye - they were a helluva team - but back then I was convinced we were one of the best teams in Europe - scared of no fkr. Had only been 7 years since nine in a row and we had won it three times since then - man - I was convinced that I supported the best team on the planet.
Now I'm 47 - been 30 odd years since my first game... and I'm STILL convinced I support the best team on the planet.
MTH!

11. I was 10 and it was December 04 I think. We beat Hibs 2-1 with goals from Big John and someone else. Think it might have been Sutton but can`t really remember. Loved it

It was * baltic

12. CIS Cup Semi at Hampden against Killie, Lubo won it with a fatastic header

Think it was the first game after John Barnes was sacked?

13. Jackie Macs testimonial when I was 16. Great seats in North Stand. Wasn't a great game but was amazing to finally be in paradise. Also Martin Oneills last game in charge.

Brian McClairs testimonial in 1997 at Old Trafford. I can't really remember much of it because I was 10. I remember we had a huge support there though and we won 2-1 :50:

17. First one I can remember is Larsson's testimonial.

Perhaps someone can help me work mine out. Was against Dundee Utd, (I am pretty sure Celtic scored 3, dont remember Utd Scoring at all) and it was year 2000 (maybe). I think it was september but cant be sure.

Infact does anyone know somewhere I can look up a history of Celtic games? I'd quite like to know when it was.

I think that would have made it O'Neill's first season does that sound right ? The season of the 6-2 game against the Huns.

I found that out by just putting "Celtic 2000-2001" into google and looking at the Wikipedia page for that season.

19. Motherwell 0 Celtic 2 - November 1987.

I don't remember much of the game, I just remember being awe-struck by the colour and noise of it all, but I do recall the goalscorers were Andy Walker and Derek Whyte.

I've still got the programme. :icon_mrgreen:
