There are plenty of Celtic fans in the North West though I was the only one in my year. Never phased me, beating United and Liverpool and even Blackburn in Europe made the next morning glorious.

    Aye - wanks.

There are plenty of Irish people - not to mention football supporters in general - who simply can't comprehend that some of us don't watch English football, at all.

Both my Step-Brother and Brother in Law support Everton. So whilst I wouldn't say I support them I do keep an eye out for there results and sometime go to Goodison if I'm off work, there a good club with a good fanbase so I don't mind mixing with them 1/2 times a month

seems to be a lot of Tims in the North East as well. Work in Newcastle and Sunderland a lot and always see at least one hoops top everyday down there. Walked into a pub in Stanley, Co Durham and there wasnt a game on or anything, but there was 6 guys in the pub in Celtic tops.

If I remember correctly the Tyneside No. 1 CSC is one of the bigger CSCs as well.

Plenty of work here in the 70's to the late 90's. Lots of Scottish and Irish guys gone back home now that the work is drying up.

Went to University in Newcastle so travelled with the bus for three years when Stevie Jones was running it. Only know a few that still travel on it and still bump into them occasionally at the games or on the bus on the way back ( I am travelling with the Donnie bus at the minute.)

Had some great times with the Tyneside No1 and even after I left Newcastle would often go up to the TIC for the Rangers away games with a group of guys.:50:

Yeah mate this was about 10 years back. I know Jack and Ian. Not seen Jack for a while ( maybe last time was in Dublin for that tournamnet with Inter and City.) Talked to Ian ( and that daft beard of his) a couple of months ago at one of the services on the way back.

Recognise alot of people from that video. Stevie,Chris and Tony from the Bad Bhoys. Andy Bradley, Chris Annoni,Billy Annoni and the other brother Mick I think it was. The guy asleep on the bus is Paul (forget his second name) and the guy with the tan that had a perma tan even about 10 years before anyone even thought of Geordie Shore.( he used to get some stick)Still see Eammon at some of the games. Recognise a couple of other faces I couldn't put names to as well.

It is. Forgot Hebburnbhoy as well. Bumped into him in Lisbon last season. I have actually seen one of the twins playing in a band in the Hoops this season.

Pops up in that video a few times, but it must have been taken a few years ago.
