For a few seasons now we have had quite a young squad and been there or there abouts in terms of the league, and picked up a couple of other domestic trophies on the way.
So I had a wee look at tonights squad (starting 11) and I make our average age to be just under 23. Thats quite an achievement and probably shows part of the reason why when we lose we play so badly as a team. the whole consistency thing.
However why do we never read about this great young Celtic team? If it was Hibs aka a few seasons ago the press would be drooling. :shamrock:

Amazing.
Then we have guys like Izzy(25), Stokes(23), Bangura(22), Ki(22), McGeouch(19). If this team stay together the academy Bhoys are going to struggle to make an impact.
The oldest players in the squad in order are; Maj(34), Cha(31), Zaulska(29), Commons(28), Loovens(28),McCourt(28), M.Wilson(27) and Kelvin(26).
