You're just repeating yourself now and I still don't agree. Let's leave it at that.

And you've still made up your own interpretation and spin on a pretty clear set of rules and a view which is silly at best and hypocritical at worst. If you were in any way correct the club wouldn't be appealing the decision. Silly me for wanting consistency and fairness.

It’s not though, this is the mistake that still imaging etc is doing which is ruining the game. In real time the ball was high and Yang stretched his foot out to flick it back into control. He didn’t swing into Cochranes face and there was no force, it didn’t seem like there was contact to me but if there was it was minimal and was when Yangs foot was flicking back towards himself. Happens so much in football and is always a yellow and a warning. Sometimes just a free kick. Even from u16s upwards at all levels it’s always a yellow if the player isn’t jumping in with excessive force.

Was very naive from Yang just with how var is run now and how hearts players will make a meal of it but in reality it was an outstretched high boot to control the ball. Still imaging makes everything look bad it doesn’t show the reality of it.

No word on the appeal yet? I thought it was today?

I have a feeling that they will say that the red card stands to protect Beaton, but the next VAR review panel will admit it was wrong to request a VAR review and the yellow should have suffice. VAR rules were broken.

If you lift your foot that high, I don't care for what reason, even for an over head screamer, it's endangering an opponent. Your foot shouldnt be going higher than your chest, let alone someones head. It's a red card.

The real issue is VAR and the use of VAR by officials to find every reason to send someone off and give penalties against us and for the huns. If Yang had never kicked his foot that high they would have found something else later on, the ridiculous Iwata penalty for example.

I do think it's a red for Yang. You can't kick your foot that high. But Im glad the club are making a meal out of this weekend, it brings a spotlight on the officiating all season and hopefully deters it from happening again next week.

Do kicks from a boot only hurt from above chest height? getting booted on any part of your body is endangering an opponent but the hearts player didn't get booted in the face though did he?

It won’t be overturned obviously, they rarely are they always back the officials. Plus he’s been our best player since he came on v Motherwell.

It’s not a red card and if it had been Cochrane on Yang it wouldn’t have been upgraded to a red by VAR. That’s for sure.

'It's a clear red card'. That is objectively wrong. End of story.

In that respect the. Going in late with a header is endangering the opponent so why wasn’t the player who injured johnstone red carded

The club’s appeal over the red card shown to Hyunjun Yang in Sunday’s game at Tynecastle has been dismissed at an SFA hearing today (Tuesday).

A club spokesperson said: “We have received notification that the club's claim has been dismissed.

“Clearly we are surprised and extremely disappointed at this decision.”

Hyunjun Yang will now receive a two-match suspension

Totally agree. The interfering, re-refereeing and break-up of the game annoys me more.
VAR should be only for clear and obvious errors - not for adding a 2nd opinion or nit-picking

Is it two league matches or next two domestic matches, i.e will include our cup game this weekend?

Didn’t the Huns appeal for a lundstram red either start of the season or end of last season and they let him play the next match? No surprise they dismissed ours the smelly biased *

I knew this * would happen when the league got tight and the huns went on a good run. We’ve shot ourselves in the foot, though, by throwing away games, meaning that the skullduggery from officials has affected us just the way they hoped it would.
