Decision making could be better, but his directness got us up the pitch. Another decent runout from the bench.

Needs a lot of work still.

I don't hold as much hope as others do for him but decent cameo.

I like him. He as a lot of things to work on but he has the tools to be a really useful player. Fairly quick and skillful.

I thought he was really good, taking on and beating men. Brave with his style. He needs to know when to pass though.

I'll be surprised if he ever becomes a regular first pick for us. His biggest issue is a lack of any real end product.

It's the thing he needs to improve on for sure. Wee bit of the Mikey Johnstone about him with his decision making. Hopefully something he can work on

I think if he's gets this season past him to settle in and gets a good pre season behind him he could be a big player for us next season.

I like him. Said it before but not loaning him out sums us up.

Should have been signed and immediately loaned out.

At the same age Jota was floundering at Benfica and coming off a poor loan spell at Real Valladolid. He's only had roughly two full seasons of professional football up to now. I think with time and patience, he could be really good. As said above a loan move to another team in our league where he'd get guaranteed starts and an environment with less pressure (like Kwon at St Mirren) seems like it would have been a real no-brainer.

Final ball let's him down more often than not but unlike any of our other wingers he goes past full backs with ease

Raw, but there's lots to work with when it comes to Yang.

I think people need to take into account how difficult it can be for a young boy at 21 to come over to somewhere like Scotland after spending his whole life in South Korea. It's not just adapting to the style of football, but the culture and environment around him.

Not everyone will just take to it like a duck to water in the way Kyogo has. Needs space and time to develop. I really think there's something there.

Kyogo was also 26 when he came over. At Yang's age he was either in his final year of playing in university or the year after, scoring 6 goals all season for a team in the second division in Japan. Just to highlight how big a gap there is in the stages of their careers.

    Yup great point.

Huge difference. He's done well enough to show some flashes for what's clearly a project signing. Can definitely offer us something and should be proud of himself for today's cameo.

He looked sharp when he came on. An unfortunate slip in his first attack and it should have been a corner.

A couple of skillful runs and he had a goal bound shot touched around the post. That was also a corner not given.

Definitely has something, it’s just whether he can work on what he’s not good at.

He had one great run from just inside the half way line that almost ended in a goal.
Final product has always been his main issue.

Not a fan tbh, the only 1 thing I like about him is he is direct and goes at people.

Every other aspect he is so so poor.

A lot to work on, hopefully but just too many downsides to his game for me. Hope next year maybe turns, as he is only here a short time.
