He's a fast, hard-working guy who can dribble, but decision-making is like Maeda's. Our system does not suit him at all. I really wonder why did Rodgers OK this signing, if he did. Screams an Ange signing when the man had already gone.

I think it's been unfair for him to be put in that position. But better and more experienced players than him have not turned up for us, in CL away games.

Hope he comes away from this experience a better player, as there is potential there.

Unpopular opinion but I see something in him..

Bit erratic with his end product but he gives everything both ways and us skillful with wee moments here and there. He'll deffo improve..

I agree. Has all the decision-making prowess of Mr Bean, but if he can wise-up and develop a final ball, he could be a real asset.

    Agreed, he's 21 so there's time yet.

The reality is our failure to bring in quality has seen him flung in way more than he should've been at this point.

There's an issue with the fluency of our entire front line. We put in a couple of good crosses at the weekend that no one attacked, or players ran into each other like Yang and Oh.

Kyogo is not linking up as well, when Hatate and Daizen are missing too.

    Not for me.

Abada came in at 19 and made an instant impact. I think the fact he's young only protects him to a certain degree.

Not the level of prospect we should be targeting.

Abada scored in 2 of his first 18 league games for Celtic. What he’s done since shouldn’t distort the reality, he didn’t hit the ground running tangibly more than Yang has who has been thrown in at the deep end way quicker.

He looks very skillful at times so there's definitely potential there.

Unfortunately at the moment his end product is guff. What's more concerning to me though is he seems to be one of those players who lacks "heart". Hopefully he isn't and can improve going forward.

Not sure he's been thrown in quicker. Abada was one of the first signings under Ange and was needed from the get go in a side that was pieced together. Yang hasn't been.

Regardless of stats I just haven't seen it yet with him. Particularly with regards to an end product. Hope to be proven wrong.

People shouldn't be expecting miracles from this boy so soon. He will need time yo adapt and develop.

It's our awful transfer business that's thrust him into the team before he should have been. Well in such a pivotal role at least.

OK, but what he's done in one of the worst leagues in Europe hasn't filled me with hope either.

He's had flashes. I hope he comes good I just don't see him as being of the level we need right now and if he indeed isn't I then wonder how he gets the game time to improve.

Works hard, has some bright sparks. But ultimately he scored 1 and assisted 1 in 20 odd games in the Korean league last season so i suppose im coming from an angle of not being excited by him from the get go. I'm assuming we bought him based off his potential shown the previous year.

Feel like I saw enough in that Aberdeen game to have some faith in him. Just shouldn't be starting games like that tonight.

Hope fans don't turn on this boy.

He shouldn't be a starter every week at this stage in his Celtic career. Embarrassing recruitment has forced the situation. He needs time to bed in to a completely new culture and style of football at such a young age.

Happy clappers etc.. really better not moan as they were happy with recruitment.

Needs a loan. His head looks down from the other week.
