Should be told to shoot more I think, skillfull and good dribbler but he always looks like he's trying to set up a goal or cross a ball in. Even those games he played on the left being right footed you'd think he'd cut in to shoot more but he seems to show no interest in having a shot to me.

Probably the opposite of Abada, who half the time he picks the ball up looks like he's decided he's going to have a shot then runs in and does it. Yang plays like he's already planned to run to the byline and * a cross in and even when he gets in position where he could touch it past someone and shoot he does the opposite.

 

Rodgers made a comment while we were in Japan about how he prefers to have 3 men stay back rather than 2 to help protect against getting hit in counter in transitions, so think that's something we'll see more of and may have been done today with Tuesday nite in mind

 

If he start shooting he will be fantastic. Had a good game

Can beat men very easily and often when he doesn’t even look favourite too, his decision making though needs work.

Also the quality of his finishing and final ball. He did however put a good ball in near post but all three of our attackers were toward the back post which was poor from them.

Definitely has talent but starting to feel like he could do with a goal to help him settle down in the final third and really kick on.

 

I’m sure the scout reports and media said finishing wasn’t one of his strong points.

Looks very raw and his decision making is erratic like others have said.

Hopefully he takes on some coaching and adjust.

 

Few folk need to chill. He's the same age as Abada. Still developing as a player.

 

I like him, I think with Hatate in the mix aswell he will have someone central who can link the play a bit better and we might see him go up a gear. Tbh I though he looked better when he played out left but I doubt we will see him over there with the arrival of Palma

 

Aye he isn't as quick as I thought he was and I 100% agree he looks better off the left with his quick feet and trickery..

 

If he's deemed to be ahead of Palma then Palma must be absolutely * pish

 

The only time I've seen him play really well he's been on the left wing.

He looks decent and I'm sure will show it but I don't want to keep seeing him having 50/50 battles with spl full backs.
Reminds me of when Tonev struggled with Shay Logan.

 

I know it’s early days, but I would rather we give Palma more game time.

 

I don't understand why he just doesn't do what Maeda does- a straight run down the line and cross.
