To me he is like a poor man’s Mikey Johnston and we wanted him chased. I don’t know I have seen a player with so little football intelligence play at the level he is.

I just don’t feel like we can trust him, especially when the pressure is on.

Good feet but lacks a footballing brain tbh.

Feel for him. Tries his best but is clearly a bit of a shitebag

Get rid ASAP, he hasn't got it I'm afraid. He looked * terrified to do anything.

He simply has to go. Embarrassing that a player this limited with such a lack of heart is getting games for us. He's a waste of a jersey, as we saw Saturday

I want to like him but you need to feel that a winger can change games for us. He just doesn't fit that bill.
Think he will stay at least till Jota is back but then I would be looking to move on.

The straw that broke the camels back on the weekend for me.. I want him to be good, he seems a good guy with a great attitude but he just doesn't provide any sort of consistent end product.

I wouldn't be in such a rush to get rid of him. Not many guys will be happy as 5th choice winger. If we have Forrest, Jota, Maeda and sign another one or two then I would be happy to keep him as a squad player. Unless we have a youth player that's ready to step up.

Exactly. We're not Real Madrid to be able to afford a really good player as backup.

I will give him credit as he has improved and has made some good contributions this season at times more so then I previously though he would do. But I still just don't see it going forward that he is good enough to become a genuine and reliable impact player for us. I also feel he is a serious liability at times defensively. Obviously defending is not a wingers forte but I really feel that Yang while he is willing to work and track back is nonetheless still a real weak point in our team defensively.

If we don't have better in the youth to fill his place in the squad we would be as well shutting down the youth setup.

The issue is when we need someone to come on and change a game you're relying on him, though.

We can do better than him. Even as backup.

I could see the argument were he a home grown player but he isn't.

I like what he CAN offer. I think we could use what he offers way better too. He loves a give and go and we never quick get the return pass to him right in dangerous positions

That said, he's a bit of a shitebag when it really counts and I was hugely disappointed in him in that Cup final, that was his moment and he shat it really .

I wouldn't be gutted if he stayed as he has improved, but I'd be looking for better.

    5. winger at the club means we have 2 pairs of players above him in the pecking order. Yes, Jota is now injured, but Rodgers has not given Bonnar or any other academy winger real game time. Yang will likely stay at the club even if we get 2 wingers in since one will replace Kühn.

He's bulked up quite a bit and he's definitely improved on last season. But l agree he's not good enough.
