My brain likes to imagine scenarios. So, here's my wish: Yang comes on in the 65th minute against Bayern instead of the tired Jota. It's a cagey game, with us having to rely on Idah to hold us up. Big Bernardo gets in about some Bayern players and pokes the ball out to Kühn, who beats his man and sends a sizzling ball into the box. Idah is blocked, but Yang is left all alone. He...sclaffs the shot, but it loops over Neuer and goes in.

Utter bedlam as the whole of CP cheers Yang on.

A goal and 2 assists. Will take a lot of confidence from that. And that's good, because whether he starts or is on the bench in midweek, he needs to put in a shift and while there is a bit of a difference between Raith and Bayern, that performance tonight will have done him a power of good.

Well done to the lad, no being shady but maybe that's about his level.

He’s a donut, goal or not.

A hard worker with an excellent attitude, clearly, but so far off the requisite quality to even be a squad player.

I know that you've invested a lot of time in maturing Yang as a footballer. How pleased are you with his contributions today? Assists and goal, which were thoroughly deserved?

Yes, he made the finish look easier than what it was. It was a really good ball in by Tony, but he's got to make up the ground to get there and finish.

I'm really, really pleased for him. It's a big challenge playing at a club this size because you've got to produce. As a wide player, you've got to create goals, score goals, work hard.

It's nice for him to get that today.

Now, the challenge midweek will, of course, be significantly different from what you faced today. But what do results like Dundee midweek and today do for the confidence and just fluency of performance going into such a big tie?

    Yes, it's professionalism.

I think whatever challenges we have, and we know they vary here from domestic, to cup, to league, to European. But the players have shown that they adapt to that. Clearly, the quality and the speed goes up a notch.

But we've shown that we can cope with that. So, I'm really looking forward. I've said that this will be supercharged here on Wednesday night and I cannot wait.

I'm waiting to see how we perform against a really top team

Actually felt sorry for him watching that. He doesn't seem confident in himself, basically admitted he's been * here.

Doubt he'll ever be consistent/productive enough to make it here but he's definitely got talent. Just needs the right team and league.

You can see his confidence is shot to pieces i think if we would have gotten a winger in during window he would have went on loan. Well done tonight though fair * can only beat what's put in front of you.

What a likeable guy. Whether his future is here or (more likely) elsewhere it's hard not to root for the guy. Easy to forgot he's only 22 too. I still maintain he has something about him, good dribbler, sharp passer and works hard. If he can start to consistently produce goals and assists I honestly do think there's a player there.
