I don't get why you think that but anyway. Everyone's joining in on the 'xfactor is * * and everyone on it is *'. He's a very good singer and I can't wait until he released something of his own.

I think that because I've heard him - I think he's got a *, annoying voice.......and I thought/said this before I knew he was a hun. And he certainly is NOT the best singer to have came off that show.....Leona Lewis springs to mind - and that's just for starters.

Heard today that people within the music industry think he will crack America.......only thing that * will be cracking is the next mirror he looks at.

If the X Factor was a singing competition, Quasimodo would have been out weeks ago.

Just to reiterate, he is a fat Hun *.

If you think he's got a *, annoying voice then nothing I say will change your mind. However, it's not about having the best voice. It's the type of music. Jahmene was the far better singer of the two. However, you try get Jahmene to sing something like what James did in his audition: ([ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tFoFtIqvkGE"]James Arthur's audition - Tulisa's Young - The X Factor UK 2012 - YouTube[/ame])

and it would be a disaster. And of course vice versa. Leona Lewis is also a better singer than James but her music isn't a patch on what James will release IMO. Personally, I'm not into ballads and big voices belting out big long notes. I do appreciate the talent those people have though and just because you don't like James' music doesn't mean you can't respect it and give him the credit he deserves instead of resorting to childishly mocking his appearance.

Wow - have I upset you and your idol? :56::56::56::icon_mrgreen:

Why on earth should I "respect" him or give him credit? I don't even like the guy or his very annoying voice.

BTW Tulsia is a rancid, little *.

She wouldn’t know talent if it came all over her face.

I find it strange you would say you dislike someone you've never met.

Ah right....so you can only dislike someone when you've met them in person - thanks for that :50: I take it I can't say that I like anybody or think they are a nice person then because I haven't met them in real life?

You do know these programs are all set up to let the person's personalities shine through don't you?

I think it sums up all that is wrong with that show, and the pop charts in general, when someone who can play about 4 chords on a guitar is being hailed as a world class talent.

Arthur is an average singer and has the personality and charm of your average house brick. With a similar life expectancy of a snowman in the Bahamas, he will not be on our screens or radio for long as the only way he will get any promotion now is if he either signs his songs over to Cowell or gets flooded with * from Cowell's song writing team.

As per he will disappear now for about 10 months before they wheel him out in time to advertise next years show. If he did have any genuine talent, he would not have went on the X Factor.

James Arthur undoubtedly has mega-talent mate. Because you personally don't like him it doesn't mean he has a '*' voice, he won for a reason. Simon Cowell & Gary Barlow, 2 experts in the industry, rate him very highly & believe this guy is going to go very far, and I'll be surprised if he doesn't.

I'd rank him as the 3rd best winner, behind Leona Lewis & Alexandra Burke - who are absolutely huge.

That's fair enough but I don't think he did anything even remotely distasteful on the show which could lead to you disliking him?

He's good at what he does. Just becasue he can't belt out a ballad doesn't mean he's not a good singer. There's different types of singers. It's a bit like saying Scott Brown is a bad footballer just because he's not skillful and can't play a 60 yard pass. He's good at what he does.

Where did I say this Gaz?

I've said it before I didn't like the guy's voice or his singing before I even knew anything about him.

Honestly - if that is what is being labelled as "mega-talent" then music as we know it is *.

He won for a reason - yes, exactly - because Cowell and co wanted him to win :86:

    Conspiracies :56:
Even if that was the case, they must have wanted him to win for a reason, yes?

I never said he did anything remotely distasteful - I just don't like the guy's personality - plus he seems like a bit of an arrogant * imo.

As I say - if you like the guy's singing fair doos - I just think he is a very crap singer - and so do many others I would imagine.

You never know. Gay scouse won the public vote for the first 8 weeks of the show. Seems like it was only a late "change of heart" that seen Arthur winning it.

How Christopher didn’t win, I’ll never know; he was comfortably the strongest singer left in the competition.

Of course, Simon Cowwell’s propaganda vehicle, The Sun wanted many to believe otherwise, hence the plethora of nasty stories.

I suppose, there’s your answer - people are easily fooled.

If you tell enough people someone is great and that another is *, sooner or later those incapable of independent thought will start to believe it.

Quasimodo will be doing gigs in Govan a year from now.
