The Jungle Bhoys are not up there anymore.

If you want to relocate, contact Lynda Gillian at the ticket office who can accomodate a move. Don't let her put you in 443 or 444. Section 445 is where we stand and there is plenty of space.

My seat isn't in near the Jungle Bhoys but I go up there every home game anyway :50: Not half as good going to a game without an atmosphere.

There are like a couple of sections trying to get it started but the rest just kinda sit and look on,We need to sort that out, lets go * mental like the argies lol Or fenerbache fans,For a team as big as we are and a stadium as big as ours we should raise the roof.

The green brigade is the way forward ! jungle bhoys are restricted on too many things by the board .The reason the board dont want a singing section is pure and simple, There would be songs sung that they dont want sung which is why they dont get on with the gb cause they will do and sing what they want .

When I was going to the old jungle, you were fired up with the drink and on the terracing, and everybody was into it,but sadly some of the older ones and newer ones turn up thier eyes at young ones singing and making a noise, too * middle class now!!!! but with these stewards, these * have had * hun tops on,had our runins with them in the car/bus park and hun flags going into thier buses,so time it was all done in house and under our control, but that will never happen, and we have complained to CELTIC about them??? so that is what we have to change.

Lately fans have not had a lot to get excited about even under wgs,as games were a torture to watch and get the crowd going,so lots of factors here, not just our fault, but hope the young ones get thier campain going,me too old now 52 throat can only take so much ha ha cheers:84:

    Let the people sing,
This is quite a crazy theory i have but i'll do my best to explain it.

In my opinion, dedicated sections around the ground does improve the atmosphere, but only in that particular section. Fair enough it's good getting a good singsong with a few hundred but it doesn't compare to that chill down your spine when the whole stadium sings. And this gets me onto my next point.

For the songs that have been sung en masse this season, i can confirm that rarely have they started in any of the dedicated sections. The element of suprise in a wierd way is what will improve the atmosphere. By this i mean, tactically moving around the main groups of singers every so often. The people around the Green Brigade and the other groups are probably the ones who are not interested in the atmosphere and give the singers the least amount of support. I bet that if you were to move the GB+singers to another section were there usually is silence, we would experience at least one song in which the whole stadium be bouncing to. The people around them in the new section probably would jump at the chance to enjoy a bit of atmosphere which would help it spread.

It has already been proven this year! The game at home against Aberdeen(3-0) i think was the very first game that the Comrades began and the atmosphere was considerably better with the whole JS stand joining in.
This actual theory of moving groups around however is very flawwed and probably would be too much hassle. But in my opinion the people who can help these problems within the stadium are just various groups of mates. If you go to the games with mates and are nowhere near the atmsophere then it can be you who can fix it. It only takes a wee bit of stubborn standing, i've seen it done. Ignore any of the * you get off people who are behind you and get a bit of banter going. You pay your ticket and are entitled to support your team anyway you see fit. You enjoy the * prices, pies and 0,1 or 3 points a * of alot more!:50:

(Also, the poorer attendences which are likely for the remainder of the season is a great chance to take action, as many of the 'less passionate' will stay away. It'll be easier to group together with other like minded folk)

ticket prices have to go down mate simple as, 30,000 last week was official attendance. Since im from dunbar (east lothian) and im 16 years old it is very difficult for me to get through in terms of prices never mind a season ticket. I go 4 or 5 times a season but im just playing football on saturdays. Cheaper. I hink it wid cost over £350 quid. season ticket £220 and travel

good post J1475, at least yor hardcore mate and can see what we are trying to do.. * all from CP as usual, but heres, an email I wrote in below.

Good morning. I submitted an email last week with regards to the signing section. at celtic park. I believe you would have received quite a significant amount of emails.I am fully aware the club is busy at the moment and again is going through another transitional period. We write these emails because we care about the clubs well fare and not to upset anyone. This next couple of months is a crucial period for Celtic, especially where renewals of season tickets are concerned. The club needs to adapt a new innovative approach into enticing the fans back to paradise.

As per thousands of people on forums etc, we are all looking for a solution for re-generating the singing section. All supporters want to unite in one area. I understand it is complicated to move it, but I think the club should be looking to at least re-launch a campaign promoting section 443,444,445 as per your link on the official club website. Perhaps re-advertise it in on the web page, the Celtic view etc... There is a big demand for a decent singing section... look at the noise generated at away matches. The reality is ,Celtic park is dying of death apart from euro nights and old firm matches.

I can only speak for hardcore and loyal fans, and I appreciate everyone’s opinion counts, some people want to go with family etc and just watch the game, I dont have an issue with that. However it is the general feeloing amongst the fans that when you do try and sing, you are frowned upon, being told to sit down etc..Football is nothing without the fans, so lets clarify where the singing area is and let's re-ignite it. We need the clubs help.

Why don’t the club put a survey/opinion poll out on the official website...? e.g " how to improve the match day experience at celtic park" would a new singing section be supported, what do we think of the current section, would people relocate and so on and so forth. Get the opinion of all the Celtic family. See how the entire fan base feels. That is a fair method.

Match days should be something to look forward to and not just an inconvenience which it is turning into for some. We need that lions roar back. In hindsight when Celtic built the jock stein stand , they should have reserved some sections and called it the "new jungle" perhaps. We need to be the 12th man; the players will not be inspired on the park when the place is so quiet. We have the numbers to fo it.. we just need to get evryone together.

Its time for the bhoys to make some noise, and we need your help... A new improved singing section campaign will have the fans flocking back to paradise... Everyone you speak to bemoan the lack of atmosphere, so we need to tackle this head on.
If I though I could get a positive response from Celtic, I would take it upon myself to make and distribute leaflets to promote the singing.

Even in the oneil era the club recognised the atmosphere was flat and tried to introduce the singing section, so its not as if im a random fan , submitting an unreasonable idea. We just need to put some weight behind trying to improve what we have already got, especially in these difficult circumstances and current climate with reference to season ticket renewals.

Our opinion counts. I have been going to parkhead for 25 years, I am a season ticket holder, and I speak for thousands. I posted opinion on the Celtic forum about this issue and received over 1000 hits on the first day, and that is just one forum. Please don’t discard without reply. Any acknowledgement would prove the club do take in an interest in the fans ideas. If you liase with myself I can filter any feedback through fellow supporters.Thank you for your time. john Reid k27268

What's the deal with the Comrades then? Back in 445? Saw the banner up there today but there was still the "Football Fans. Not Criminals!" banner at 122.
