WTF IS HAPPENING TO THE ATMOSPHERE AT PARKHEAD - LETS GET IT SORTED BHOYS

i think they should make the full lower section of the jock stein stand the singing section & if it works out after the the first season expand it to the top tier. all the * with 4 diffrent groups trying to do it all over the park isnt working get them all togeather & it would be better.

 

Exactly jokey all the groups in behind one of the goals together would really get everyone going i think

Hi there I would like to raise some points in conjunction with the club. I think the singing section area allocated needs to be looked at and I speak for a lot of Celtic fans. I feel the current section is up in the heavens and isn’t as effective as it could be. Behind either of the goals would be a much more effective location. Look at the Kop for example or the likes of Feyenoord and AC Milan. They are behind the goals, and can generate a great atmosphere.

We all complain that everyone is sitting away from mates etc and the atmosphere at the club is flat. The club should be looking to launch a campaign of relocation that will magnetise all the fans who want to sit together and belt out our songs. This will not only make the match day experience better but hopefully charge up the players on the field of play.

Fair play to the bhoy’s up in 444 but I don’t think it’s ever really took off. Having said that, all the banners these guys produce behind the goals in the jock stein stand are terrific and inspiring, but we need to be in that same section the banners are displayed to go hand in hand. 444 is too high and out the road.

The club has come out and said in the past that the lack of atmosphere is a problem, so let’s put our weight behind a campaign to get all the fans who want to sing behind the goals. This having three or four different supporters groups in different parts of the stadium is counter productive and is clearly not working. Without the fans, we wouldn’t exist, so all I ask is for you to action this request or propose it to someone who can make a decision

Also ticketing prices and stewarding policy’s need to be looked at. There has been a lot of discontent at the way stewards are operating at pakhead.

Your heart is in the right place mate but your fighting a losing battle.

The truth is people just dont get excited about beating anyone at home other than the huns and european opponents.

As for moving the singing section, its just not that simple, season ticket holders that sit behind the goal aren't gonna just up sticks and move to accomodate a 'singing section' are they?

fair point bhoys and your probably right but if only a small perecentage of they so called celtic FANS had only a pinch of my passion, or your passion maybe we wouldnt be talking about a * atmosphere. Its deperate times at parkhead, so any ideas are better than no ideas.

 

Why can't these people just muster up an ounce of energey to sing a song

remember last year the cis semi against utd?? aw the hardcore congregated behind the goals at hampden. they were bouncing and I though i want to be in about that and had an amazing sing song... if parkhead got a proper singing section, and we wer vocal.. loads more people would be like.. hel yeah , a want 2 be part of that.. but as some of the post's have mentioned, the club will do * all about it.. quite sad really. esp when we are paying the boody wages.

yesterday was the first league game ive managed to get to this season(cause ive usually got to work every sat) i agree there should be a signing section behind the goal on the lower jock stein thats where all the signing comes from all the other top european clubs,and also ticket prices should be looked £25 to go c st.johnstone its naw as if its barca not a big reduction but say £20 for home games at least

 

heard that barca only charge like a fiver to get in to the games. also the idea of the singing section behind the goals would be a great idea.

 

i dont think emails will get you anywhere but good luck because theres alot of issues around the club now and i cant see them having any sort of campaign. i seen petitions on here before and i think thats a good way to show celtic that the fans are behind a change in atmosphere at celtic park. Wasnt there a meeting in st. marys hall with celtic about this ???

 

I was at the st marys meeting with 2 other members and nothing of the like was brought up, the topics were the poppy on the celtic jersey and a small bit about the referees.

 

JOKEY7... Totally agree with everything you've said! Things need to be done, it breaks my heart not hearing Parkhead bouncing anymore. Despite the last two season, we are celtic supporters, why anything would taint that is beyond me!
