    goal ratio doesnt mean everything...

    before joining us, Larsson only had like 20 goals over 100 games for Feyenoord.

    Scepovic score 23 in 39 games for Sporting Gijon before joining us.


    on thhis stat, would you pick Scepovic over Larsson just because he has a better goal to games ratio

    He's said recentlythat Hearts want to sign him. Unless Rodgers has a few players he knows he really wants, I'll go by his word and have him assess the squad before signings are made.

    That's just one example though.

    Chances are, you sign a player known for scoring goals over the course of his career, he is more likely to replicate it here.

    Out of our recent striking acquirements as well Scepovic was probably one of the better ones. At least he grabbed a couple in Europe.

    Can't help but think this is a play by him to try to force a move to us. Admirable, but he just doesn't seem right for us. We were linked with him in January but JC said we were not interested, now a new manager comes in and the day after he's shown off he comes out and says he's his first target? Why would Rodgers even be looking at someone like him? He's never really like the big target forwards, always prefers those run at defenders or can hold the ball well but still move. This guy isn't them.
